I barfed a little in my own mouth saying that.

Anyhoo, Watson is a ****in' TERRIBLE playcaller, esp. under pressure. We might have a chance tonight if he doesn't **** it up by calling stupid **** all night. I say, regardless, he goes away after the bowl game.

The guy is a tease.. He'll do well in certain games but he comes up lame when he doesn't exactly have the talent edge over the other team..

I think neb is stuck with bad offensive assistants all around. And not much offensive talent either.

If you think your pathetic offense is due just because of Watson, you have a reality check coming soon. Your QB is horrible, OL is almost as bad as ours and you have no threat at the WR position.

    But wow, what a defense.

QB play is the biggest hindrance right now.

    :yeahthat:

The guy just is not a Div 1 QB. ... Tough for the OL to look good when the other team knows they don't have to guard for a passing game and just stack 8 guys in the box..

32 yards of offense in the 1st half for the Huskers?

    Yuck. That is bad!

I thought that 1st drive showed you guys could move the ball some... all it meant was that texas was figuring out just how basic nebraska's O was.

If we still had whats-his-nuts from last year, this team might have been something special. Oh well. I hope Cody Green has a good offseason and is ready to show something next year.

    Nail head, meet hammer.

ZL sux, but he's gone, OL and Helu needs to mature. Dunno WTF we'll do next year at WR?? Burkhead will be good for us, probably beat out Helu next year.

Watson still sucks. In spite of everything, I sorta hope we hire Mangino for OC. What a combo he and the Pelinis would be.

You WANT that? Can you imagine the abuse stories that would come out of that pairing? Would make 2d degree burns look like a mild sunburn!

Suh's having a great game tonight, but he'll always be Ryan Miller's bitch.

Meh. He sucks, but he still has a few more victories than your OC. Oh, too soon?

I'd argue that he has zero victories. The victories belong to the Pelini brothers and your special teams coach.

I'd say they're even at 3 wins. The Sun Belt Conference is terrified of him.

Maybe this season but the offense won quite a few games last season under his command.

In general, the Sun Belt teams lack sufficient linebacker speed to effectively cover a well-executed bubble screen.

There is no runningback on this team that comes close to meeting historic NU standards, either. A couple of decent receivers, but not much else.

I've always liked Cotton, I'm surprised to O-line isn't better than they are.

Don't you question at this point whether that offense was truly his, or Callahan's? It was very different from what was ran at CU, which now I'm starting to think was really Barnett's. Here he had a grinding, wear-you-down offensive approach, and there is was much more pro sets under Callahan.

Now it seems to be neither. It seems to me he wants to pass, but Osborne has been goading him into smachmouth, the result is just a ****ty offense.

    What it's true.

    Suh against Miller=looked like an average/decent D-lineman

Suh against Texas=The player that scared me going into the CU game.
