I live in Phoenix and they are freaking out here about ASU losing to U of A. It is pretty much known that Erickson is about to be fired.

I was thinking, if he does get fired, and UCLA fires Neuheisal (not sure if they will) 3 out of the 6 South teams will have new coaches next year. We should be able to steal a few recruits away from ASU, UCLA, and U of A
 
I think Slick Rick gets at least one more year unless they get destroyed by USC, in the Pac-12 championship and the bowl game. Which that really isn't out of the question.

In that scenario, that would be even better for CU. I'm serious. Their bowl game wouldn't be until mid-to-late December. They'd have to fire Slick at the end of the Pac12 game to keep some of their recruits or else everyone else would poach most of them.

Slick Rick saved his job and the Buffs helped him do that. I think the only schools with possible new head coaches are Wazzu, oregon state, and both Arizona schools. Im guessing that there are only 1 or 2 new coaches in the league next year.

Still not a bad scenario for us. ASU has a pretty darn good recruiting class going right now. Hopefully we could snag a few
 
Will be interesting to see how the PAC teams strengthen once the new media deals kick in. Some schools should be able to pull in Urban Meyer type hires in this league. Hopefully it is not ASU, but I would not be surprised to see them swing for the fences with the next HC.

OS wont fire Riley unless they have a lot of consecutive bad seasons in a row. They gave the man a lifetime contract and have only had 2 awful season back to back and this is a school that had 28 straight losing seasons.
