Lots of seniors made plays today.

Curtis Cunningham had a nice fumble recovery.

Clemons had a great catch to the 1 yard line to give CU a 10 point lead again.

Mankhe fought off an injury to make some tackles.

Hartigan had some nice pressures and a sack.

Sandersfeld played well at corner.

The linemen did a fine job against a good Utah defensive line.

Although injured for the 2nd half, Speedy has been there week in, week out.

It wasn't a great run for this group under Hawkins, but they showed up today and got a win. This gets the monkey off the our back and sets the team up for a fresh start next season. Congrats to all the seniors.

You forgot the senior I'm most happy for. How allsome is it that Perkins made it back for the last game of his senior year and got a win?

I'm happy for some seniors, and happier that most of them have seen their last game. Sucks speedy went down.

Yes indeed. Piss poor oversight on my part. Perkins has been a warrior.

Oh, and frickin' Goldberg. You kidding me. Guy comes back from injury and sticks his nose right in there. Seniors really stepped up.

I remember coaching against this kid when he played sports for Northglenn and being impressed with how nice he was. I'm happy he was able to finish his Buff career in style.

Congrats to all the seniors for sure. Was proud of Perk, he showed alot of heart, still wasnt close to healthy. Sucks for Speedy but this wasnt his last football game, he'll get a chance somewhere. Great way to go out for those guys.

Embree never gave up on this senior class, and he didn't let them give up on themselves. They can truly walk away from this program with their heads held high knowing that they made the choice to embrace the change in the culture of this program and led the way by winning 2 of the last 3 and removing the road monkey from this program.

a LOT of sunshine here... glad they walked away with a win tho

Took all year, but we won. There wasn't as much of a talent disparity, so that helps, but this team played with emotion today. They breathed FIRE. I LOVED it.

I'm very happy the seniors were able the end their football careers on a good note.
I'm also looking forward to the new leadership next year's seniors will bring to the team.

Thank you speedy, Tclem, Hartigan and the rest.

Most of these seniors won their first road game today. It's been a rough, frustrating ride. However, a lot of 2-10 teams would have called it quits after 45-6 loss heading into their final road game, and these guys had the guts to do whatever it took to get that elusive road win. For that, we're forever thankful. As Embree said, "This is too proud of a program to have a stain like that losing streak on its pedigree"

Embree used the seniors to get the stain out.

They had a part in making that stain. They cleaned it up. That's redemption.

Good coaching, Mr Embree.
