How many of our current commits are planning on enrolling early. I know that at least a couple have indicated that they will be early HS grads.

Dillon's not an EE. Pretty sure that Norgard is, so he'll likely be the main guy at FB this spring.

Cool, what about that DE from DC. Hopefully Shead can enroll in January before spring ball.

De'jon Wilson was going to try to be an EE, but he isn't sure he'll be able to do it. That one's still up in the air.

We go at least two deep at each position, should be able to do more live scrimmage than we did last year.

Going to be a fun spring practice. With this huge senior class leaving and lots of kids who got to play this year there should be a lot of competition for starting jobs.

Injuries always happen during spring drills. But hopefully everyone can stay injury free for the spring game.

Hopefully we can land a JUCO or a transfer that can play right away.

Got enough young guys that at least one should step up. PRich coming back healthy will be a huge help, since he has come back from the injury he just doesn't have the explosion and the separation that he had pre-injuries. Hopefully he comes back as good as ever. Canty was hot and cold as you would expect from a freshman but he did show some playmaking ability and I think he will go in as the other starter. McColloch is interesting. They want to run the ball and he is a very effective blocker. He also showed that he can get open and has very good hands, he also has deceptive speed. I am anxious to see Spruce on the field and we have a couple of others that we haven't seen. If they don't step up then the 3 from Texas will have an early opportunity in fall camp.

At this point I would prefer not to go after a JUCO or Transfer (who would have to sit anyways) unless he is a definate difference maker, otherwise I would rather we develop the guys we have.

Not a huge fan of Canty. Hopefully he works on his route running and catching the ball during spring ball, but right now i see him as a 3rd or 4th option. Hopefully we can land a JUCO or transfer that can be eligible to play next year and not have to seat out a year.

He may have a low ceiling but he showed some flashes this year. He has some quickness, got open, and caught the football. He didn't do it consistently but that's not unusual for a freshman. Don't think he will ever be a star but he has the potential to be a solid complementary guy to a PRich.

I know we lose 28 a seniors from the roster to graduation this year but how many starters do we have to replace?
Hansen, speedy, TClem, Miller, Adkins, Sandersfeld, Perkins, Hartigan, Deehan, Harrington, Manhke, Cunningham.
Anyone else?
That's a lot of holes to fill but we also had a lot of young guys see real PT this year which should make back filling the seniors easier. I think replacing Hansen, Hartigan and the OL guys are the biggest question marks. It could be a lot worse.

We only have one guy on the roster that has even played a down of D-1 football and Hirsch has a ways to go. I know, I know, Dillon and Wood yada yada yada... Until either one of those guys show they can do it in a game they are still pretty big question marks IMHO.

Would love to have a RB over 200 lbs that could contribute on 1st/2nd/short yardage. Are we in on any JUCOs that could play next year?

So who do the Buffs have lined up for non-conference games in 2012? Rebuilding is a long road, but it getting 6 wins with a brutal conference schedule is a lot easier if you can start 3-0....

Honestly, after the Big12, the Pac12 is far from a brutal conference schedule. We just sucked this year... thats all.
