As far as I am concerned, today's win wiped the slate clean!! I saw heart out there from coaches and kids!! With all the **** these seniors have had to go through, what a great memory to take with them! Hopefully this is that "signature win" we have so desperately needed! It gives me hope and takes the burn out of the off season. I could not be more proud to be a Buffalo today!! Good day to my fellow Buffs!
Cheers,

AMEN my friend, AMEN!!!

2 of 3 to end the season, I'll take it. Nice win Buffs!! I have never been so excited for a win. God it feels good.

Biggest thing for me is them taking that ugly streak with them. Leaves the squad with a fresh start

I agree. With such a large senior class I hope we'll see a big difference in the over attitude in this team next year.

Outstanding. The team did not give up...however we must have the densest OL in the country, how many times does the UU shift cause them to jump? All is forgiven, you won. Way to go out on a high note Seniors, winning your last game at Folsom and your last roadie. Congrats.

And....we're off!

God, it just feels so damn good going into the offseason with a win. I'm trying to think if Colorado ever beat Nebraska when we played them last when we had a losing record.

the past four weeks have brought the following image to mind.

(Offseason 2010- 11/4/11)Purchase a beat up classic muscle car, thing has been stripped down to bare bones, rust holes in the floor board, Interior is ripped to shreds, you name it, everything is wrong with it. Slowly, painstakingly you restore it, original paint, original parts, original look. The thing looks show room quality, like it hadn't changed since its glory days. But you still havent fired it up to see whats left in that power plant under the hood. (11/4/11-11/25/11) Now comes the moment of truth. You fire it up and it sputters at first with a thick black smoke pouring from the tail pipe, it finally catches and roars to life for a brief moment then stalls again. After some tinkering and yelling and screaming you hop back in to give it another try, this time the engine roars to life..

Hopefully this is the point we are at, I know there will be some break downs along the way, and some tune ups needed in the coming months and years, but I am really believe I have seen a change in this team. The way they played against USC, AZ, and Utah they played much more passionate than I have seen in quite some time. If the defense discovered is identity today and the offense can become the offense I saw against Zona... Watch out Pac-12, the buffalo are coming.

Somehow I think that until we put together something a little more sustained, the Pac 12 is about as frightened of CU Football as they are Cowboy Troy.

On the other hand, I'd like to believe that this is a landmark victory that will catapult us to new glory.

Well thats why the if's up there are key. That balanced punishing offense we had against Zona and the suffocating defense we had today, when put together would win quite a lot more games than it would lose. Hopefully we start off next season with three in a row before we enter conference play. USC is the only south team I am afraid of next year.

The biggest difference I saw between the past 4 weeks and the previous 9. Was fire. They played like football players. They experienced all the emotions that come with the sport. They got slammed in the jaw and stepped up and hit back. If the culture is really changing then I am excited for CU football in the coming years

Orms and Polk's hit were a sign things are changing.

I'm serious.
