Hard to believe this season passed so quickly. Lots of the big games yesterday.

Today Ohio State- Michigan F***ing commercial every time I flip to this game but Michigan beating tOSU pretty handily. After the RichRod experiment looks like Michigan is on the way back although a lot of it is Robinson who will can lose you a big game as easily as he can win one for you. Seeing how RichRod failed at Michigan makes me worry a lot less about him at Arizona.

More interesting is Georgia-Georgia Tech. For a school who's fans wanted to fire Richt Georgia is doing okay ranked #13 (until LSU kills them in the SEC championship game.)

Other games less interesting, a bad Kentucky team leading a bad Tennessee team 3-0. With the money they have and 100k in the stadium how can you not at least win at Tennessee?

Not enough talent in-state to win in the SEC. Tennessee is good when Georgia is struggling. Georgia has been killing it on the recruiting trail.

You would think they could expand their recruiting base, a lot of the SEC states don't have a lot of population, they fill in with kids from Florida and Texas. With the kind of budget Tennessee should have they should have the facilities to attract attention, they have enough success in the past to sell their history, and the support on campus is a good environment.

Don't look so much at population. Mississippi and South Carolina put out a lot more talent than Tennessee prep football. There's definitely a ton of potential at Tennessee, but the coach has to be able to recruit more nationally than other SEC bigwigs. Similar to Arkansas.

For Tennessee to do well they have to recruit Georgia and the Carolinas very well. UNC had Butch Davis locking up that state. Clemson and the rise of SCar led to South Carolina led to that state being dried up. UGA, GT, Bama and Auburn are killing it in Georgia. They are being locked out of all of that fertile recruiting ground.

Kids don't want to play at Tennessee unless they are from the area. They really aren't a "national" recruiting type of team. Knoxville is a very nice city, but it's definitely southern. Unless they recruit southern kids they aren't going to do very well.

They are a victim of location.

Georgia has a whole different class of athletes than we do. Their DBs are all fast and athletic, LBs are big and can move. Difference really shows on STs.

Wyoming up 7-0 on Boise State midway through the 1st quarter.

Go Cowpokes!

UGA in control up 31-10. That rivalry has gone one-sided in recent years. With the pending W today, 'Dawgs will have won 10/11.

That's pretty much the top half of the SEC. LSU's CB's are as big as our LB's and their LB's are as big as our DL, pretty amazing how athletic the kids are down there.

Maryland up 27 points on NC State in the 3rd then gets lit for SIX unanswered Wolfpack TDs.

Hawk lives!
