Slick Rick Fired

If Peterson isn't announced as the new coach about 2 minutes after completion of the Boise St. - New Mexico game I will be stunned.

wow, they don't even let him finish the week? Brutal....

EDIT: I guess he will coach the game on Friday, my bad...

I guess the myth about his coaching prowess is officially over. I actually thought that he would be good at UCLA, he always recruited well and with more experience I believe it would help him.

I did not hate the guy but he was an ingrate so it does not bother me that his time is over.

Could not have happened to a more deserving guy. My only lament is that we did not get the opportunity to rub it in with a humiliating loss. What is his record against CU? IIRC we were 1-1 against him at UW and of course this year's loss makes us 1-2?

This is just a motivational tool to inspire his kids to a victory in the PAC12 championship game.

No way UCLA fires the guy that won the only PAC12 football conference in history! (How awesome would that be?)

P.S. Any Boise State coaches you can recommend?

Depends if you like coach to be mad ripped or not.

Wow...nice job by the UCLA AD torpedoing any faint chance that UCLA had at pulling off the shocker of the year on Friday...

Slick will land on his feet again. He's a fast talker, and the consummate salesman. Some AD is going to buy into his BS - just wait and see. Slickster will say "hey my last team played for the Pac 12 Championship, I got a bum deal, it wasn't my fault, it was all politics, that kind of thing could happen to anybody, it was just an unfortunate situation". Blah, blah, blah

We've never beaten him.

Ha ha... yeah that's what we are worried about. Potentially blowing a chance to beat Oregon....

We all know the outcome of the game Friday regardless of who is coaching UCLA.

He sealed his fate when went with that pistol offense. His reason for being was being an offensive coach, and he knew nothing about the pistol offense.

It's probably a minor embarassment, but in the end, it's no big deal. he, like all the other sports losers, will get a high-dollar announcing job.

What is with the blue horizontal bars on all the posts?

will embree close the circle and hire skippy as an assistant? lol.

i kid. i kid.
