Which seniors will get a NFL chance?

My possibilites

Toney Clemons. He really turned around his game the second half of the season and made some outstanding catches. I think if he impresses scouts, he has a chance at a late round draft pick. If not, then he will for sure get picked up as a FA.

Ryan Miller. Possible late round pick.He does have the physical tools, wonder if NFL coaches they can coach him up.

Rodney Stewart. Possible late round, for sure FA pick up. His size is the downfall, but so was Darren Sproles, and he has done well. I can see a team taking a chance on him.

Josh Hartigan. Probably a FA pick up

Miller has all the measurables the NFL scouts love. He'll be picked in the 3rd to 5th round. In many ways, Solder's play this year should help Miller. Solder was decent if unspectacular at CU, but has been a starter for New England (of all places) since day 1, and has done really, really well there.
Clemmons will likely be drafted late. 6th or 7th round. He did pick up his game this year.

I don't think anybody else will get drafted. Maybe a few free agents here or there, but overall pretty slim pickins.

i don't see hartigan being a FA pick up, he would get eaten alive with his size. hope i'm wrong like i was on mcknight.

I think Miller will be taken before round 4. Another possible FA is Obi; he could be looked at as a potential 3/4 DT.

Obi has been a monstrous disappointment this year. In fact, he's been a disappointment throughout his time at CU. I kept waiting for him to blow up, and he never did. I suspect his playing days are over. Maybe arena ball or the CFL.

Speaking of McKnight: I saw some of the Jets game, 2 games ago. McKnight was announced as making a couple of catches, but he looked like a black guy. Are there 2 McKs on the team?

Joe McKnight, former USC RB.

Miller - 2nd/3rd round (after he crushes it at combine)
Clemons - 5th/6th round pick

FA pool - Adkins, Stewart, Hartigan, Obi

Adkins???????????? Are you serious?
Yes, actually. Remember, teams will be looking at alot of footage of Miller, and they'll consequently see Adkins making plenty of good blocks (he finished 2nd on the team in Good Effort Blocks and Touchdown Blocks). Some might come to the conclusion that Miller, who will be a first day pick, was not even the best OL on his team (gasp).

Hope they see film that's different than I did. Seems like every time I saw EA, a DT was turning him into backward-spiralling oatmeal.

Miller is the only sure fire CU player to be drafted and I largely thought he was a disappoint and overrated during his tenure.

On-field performance doesn´t have to neccessarily mean much.

You're right about that. What's the rest of the WR class look like this year? I'm sure a lot will depend on how many other WR's there are in this year's class.

I honestly see Clemons in the top 4 rounds. He has everything you look for in a WR... assuming he runs in the 4.5-4.6 range

No idea about the WR class, but the senior class this year looks pretty weak across the board.

T-Clem has played well enough to get a look at the combine and on senior day, and perhaps even to get an invite to one of the "senior bowl" games. He will need to perform well at those venues though, to solidify himself as a guy who gets drafted. The better he performs, the higher his stock will rise. I'd think his ceiling is probably about the 4th round though. Miller has the most potential to go early, but I don't know that he has the quality tape that he needs to go 1st or 2nd round. Monster performances at the combine/senior day could vault him into the 3rd or 4th round. Tough sell on Speedy. Obviously lacks the ideal size, and despite his nickname, doesn't really flash the kind of speed that can compensate for his stature. Still, a phone call from EB could go a long way toward maybe getting him a look. Methinks that free agency is more likely his ticket to the league though.

Scotty is on IR, but apparently still tapping Hayden Paniettiere. Well played, Mr. McKnight. Well played.
She's in lurve

As a Broncos fan, the only player I would like to add off this team is Rodney. And I wouldn't spend more than a seventh-rounder on him. Quoting DrunkRalphie for the sweet user name. I'm not sure whether to picture a drunk buffalo or a drunk Ralphie from Christmas Story - either way, the picture is enjoyable.

Also, I hope Scotty doesn't have an inferiority complex about this guy:

A guy can only take so many Wes Welker comparisons....
