OSU or Alabama for NC against LSU?

OSU or Alabama

Go ahead and throw Pistol Pete's oversized hat in the mNC ring.

When I squint my eyes, Oklahoma State's 2OT loss this season looks like it occured against a team playing in USC's uniforms.

If Okie Lite lost against a clown team wearing these uniforms, I'd have cast my vote towards Bama.

vote then! you friggin clown lover!

OSU. Somebody brought up a good point that they should not have played the same day that their athletic department had a major tragedy.

you voted for osu, you friggin clown!

Read it again, captain. Okie Lite got my vote because Iowa State wore the Trojan knock-offs. On a subliminal level, these Troyconium uniforms don't make OSU's loss so bad.

Bama already lost at home to LSU. Give the OSU a shoot, they lost a game during a week where the university went through a tragedy.

And their FG in OT was totally called wrong. Watching the vid, it goes straight over the upright, that is a FG and we would of had 3OT

IF you want to see it fast forward to the 2min mark

Okie Lite deserves a shot at the Bayou Bengals.

Sorry Charlie  ... but 'Bama already had their shot (at their place) and didn't get it done. Give the Pokes a shot ... they've earned it ... their only loss came on the heels immediately of a tragedy which reiterated another just ten years earlier. Not an excuse, but a possible explanation.

As a CFB fan ... I'd much rather see an LSU-OSU game than an LSU-UA rematch. Yes, that's subjective, but can anyone here (or anywhere) say that any alternative is any less so?

^^This^^

Overall I think that Bama is probably a better team than Okie State. That said the LSU-Bama game has already been played, you also have to say something about winning your conference.

While Bama is likely a better team, Okie state may be able to give LSU a better game. We have seen situations where certain teams give other teams problems. Whilel LSU is a great team with increadible talent and speed Okie State is most deserving of a shot at them. Once the game starts anything can happen.

OSU just dismantled a good Oklahoma team, they earned their right to play against LSU

Easy. Okie State. Why? They have more quality wins and they didn't already lose to LSU this year. Furthermore, they just won, and handily I might add, their conference championship. Bama can't even say they won their division, let alone their conference. No rematch of boring bowl 1!

P.S. I have already decided that if Bama gets in-I am boycotting the NCG. I bet we could start an internet movement about that and convince the networks and the BCS that if they select Bama, they will only get a regional audience in the SEC territory and a big chunk of the rest of the U.S. has no interest in watching another field goal fest.

The thing that bothers me most about the potential rematch, is what if Bama wins?? In my mind if there was a rematch to happen it would have to include an extra game if Bama wins. Otherwise I dont think it proves anything at all.

Big 12-2-2 doesn't have a conference championship game, so it was a empty win. but they still deserve to be there.

Wins vs current top 25 teams: Okie Lite 5 Bamer 2
Wins vs FBS teams with winning records: Okie Lite 7 Bamer 3

Only reason tigers would want bama again is that they know they can beat them, OSU is an unknown for them
Give me a break, Bama is a great team. It will be another toe to toe heavyweight fight. Old school football, no spread offenses, just rough nasty tough football.

I kind of feel like this also

A field goal that goes higher than the posts and is inline with the posts is called no good every time. That bit us in 1999 when a Jeremy Aldrich kick to win against Nebraska sailed high and was inline with the post.

Here's the thing, beating the greatest bama team ever, again, would leave the question open as to how they'd stack up against OSU. If they play and win OSU, no questions anywhere. Clear cut NC.
