Kiszla article today

http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_19465581

Thought this was pretty interesting. Barnett coaching CSU? At first I thought bullsh-t GB would never coach a school with no tradition, facilities or hope to improve anytime soon. But the more I thought about it the more I realized it probably wont happen, but it really isn't would of the realm of possibility. Anyway interesting read curious to hear others thoughts on any chance it could happen..... this would be one way to make the rocky mountain showdown relevant again.

Most definitely. The venom he had for Barnett was quite toxic. The ****ing prick is nothing more than a troll.

Kiszla still has a job at the Post?!

Wait, the Post still exists?!

If Kiszla writes his BS and nobody reads it, does it make a sound?

Love or hate the CU/CSU game, you have to admit, if the rammies hired Barnett, that would add a serious spark to the game.

They should just hire the Weasel. That would ignite my ire towards them.

Oh yeah, and I won't click on a link to those asshats at the post....ever. I miss the guy that used to cover CU sports from the Times Call. I went to their page to see who is covering the Buffs now and they just had a link to the Camera's BuffZone. Oh well.

Why?

CSU will still be the school with no tradition, no talent, and no chance. Barnett has never been good at recruiting, and he is not going to be any better getting kids to lamb than he was getting them to CU.

He won at Northwestern

He did something right at Northwestern with recruiting. Why not CSU? Be the first time I root for the lambs (outside of CU game) if he does get the job. CSU stands to gain some fanbase, so not a bad move imo.

Because it's a former CU coach (and a good coach at that). Barnett was a good recruiter before the school limited him. Barnett also gets a lot out of a little. Barnett has conference titles in two different BCS conferences.

But the biggest thing is all the CSU drama that transpired when Barnett was the CU coach. Would make things interesting.

I'll say it again, the hypocrisy of the csu fan base and douchebags like kissy is sickening and hilarious.

If Barnett were to go there he'd probably take a few of his former assistants now at Pueblo. So I think CSU could recruit their own state much better. With the defections in the MWC I can see them becoming a bowl team at least half the seasons Barnett remains to coach there. So it would be better than the Fairchild era but I don't see anyone doing Sonny Lubick body of work there.

When it's a Denver Post college sports related article, then I know not to click it.

The agenda is to elicit passionate responses by Buffs and CSU fans that drives eyeballs to the Denver Post. This paper doesn't care about college sports so long as there are the Broncos around.
