Cliff Harris

We really dodged a bullet on that one. All joking aside, I really hope he gets his life/priorities in order and makes the most of his future. Hopefully a few mistakes at 20 won't determine your life at 40.

This is relevant because this is the Oregon football board subdivision of the CU Football board correct?

Hey I put it in the Pub lol and it got moved so don't blame it on me!

It would have helped if you'd said "the Oregon football team".

Cliff Harris isn't that famous and I had to think a bit before I made the connection.

Interesting that they waited until U of O was formally out of the NCG picture. Seriously, the dude had three strikes before the season, Kelley waits until after the season to dismiss him. Is Kelley the new Osborne?

No he has not been with the team for at least 6 weeks. They just didn't want this to be a distraction since Cliff Harris was very popular with his teammates even though he couldn't seem to stay out of trouble. He would have been gone whether or not the Ducks made the NC game.

Not at all. Chip doesn't play the holier than thou card. He's there to win football games. Every now and then he steps up with a PR punishment, but he looks at his players like single guys look at women on the craziness/great in bed scale. Chip has the line on his graph. If you're going to be a headache for him off the field, you have to be at least equally productive for him on the field. Fall below that line and he'll make a PR statement by disciplining you.

Good to know. I take back the Osborne comment.

It sounds as though Cliff Harris was cited again by police which is why it was announced today. Sounds as though he had been forced out weeks ago, but the team wanted to keep it quiet till after the bowl game.
