CU in Yuri's top 2?

Wow. Seems like they're scared - immediately going for the low blow insults.

Congrats on making it to the finals Buffs !!!!

Yes...that is a bear smiling...

The way his recruitment is going, not sure I buy the final 2 thing. However, he is visiting this weekend so that's the only thing that matters. That one jackass said Indiana has more going for them than CU. Geez, what an asshole, talk about a low blow.

Obviously a bear smiling does not register with Buff nation (other than Dio of course). Glad you're in the mix though...

screw the comments on that thread. shall we bring up "the catch"
d bags think cause they are back in a BCS bowl they rule the place.

I think we should give them a pass. The unemployment rate in Michigan is over 10%, they won't see the sun again until April unless they drive to Florida, and the white trash quotient just keeps on rising. If they didn't have real universities, they'd just be Mississippi with awful winters. Why pile on?

srry. i trolled the thread.
If I were him, I'd go to Colorado. Better position coach, hotter women, better scenery, better conference, better college town, better beer, and better weed. Oh and no midwestern winter, a proven young corner on the other side, a good friend on the team, and virtually guaranteed playing time from day one.
All Michigan really has going for it is a bigger stadium. Who cares about that?

When I got to the part about Michigan beer, I LOL'd.

I didn't read the thread but Western Michigan is a hotspot of brewing. San Diego, Colorado, The Pacific Northwest and Michigan. I'm not kidding, for once. Don't know anything about their beer though, 'cause I've been out of country for four years.

Colorado is still better. And that was my point and it stands.

I was just trying to figure out how the "we have the best microbrews in the country" sales pitch was going to work on 17 and 18 yo's that have probably only had Keystone Light, PBR, and Rolling Rock up to this point. BTW - if it doesn't suck, can't you walk in to most any liquor store and buy it any way??

I was trolling. It doesn't have to make sense, it just has to be accurate. I also brought up that we have better weed. Not sure that goes in the recruiting pitch either.

Also, no, you can't just walk into any liquor store. For instance, here in California I cannot get anything from lefthand brewery as they don't distribute here. Also, Avery is very hard to come by. No Breckenridge either. Odells? Nope. etc..

Michigan has as good if not better beers than Colorado. Founders and Bells are on par with anything that we have here. Short's Brewing is really good and Arbor brewing is good.

I used to hate New Belgium, but I have looked past the fact they brew Fat Tire and actually like them now. Avery and Odells are top notch and Oskar Blues and Lefthand are great, I just think that Colorado might have more excellent breweries and more breweries overall than Michigan.
