AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... always good to laugh in the morning. But, yes, in the universe where CSU pulls an upset on par with Chaminade over Virginia, that would greatly help our RPI.

I'm a horrible Duke fan. They're a distant #2 for me (mainly because my best friend is a die-hard Dukie), so I don't even hate UNC. I fail on many levels.

I've never understood why there's so much hate for that program. Plus the fact that all the UNC fans hate Duke makes me like them even more. :thumbsup:
Duke had just way too much size for them, they would have had to hit 15-20 3's to have a chance. Duke shot free throws about like we did the other night so it shouldve been much worse.

You seriously don't get why K and his whining gets on people's nerves? Why the program of Laettner, Nick Horvath, Jon Scheyer etc. etc. is disliked? Come on Carolina!
With you on the UNC thing though. Especially these days -- Roy pisses me off

I've just been lurking recently due to work being really busy...but I had to respond to this...
...Horvath...NICK HORVATH?! The guy that rarely ever played is the target of your animosity? Nick Horvath...you could have chosen Reddick, Wojo, Hurley, etc or any host of Duke players with court-swag/intensity as an example of annoying Duke players (who oddly are always white...) but you chose NICK HORVATH?!?!
I understand the Duke hatred - they're a rich, private, elitist school and the program has a squeaky clean image that gets tiresome. I get it - I hate ND for some of the same reasons. I grew up poor so I understand how elite entities just come off as annoying...but why hate on the bball program and Coach K? The program is definitely closely tied to the school, sure, so there's some hatred that's warranted by just being Duke's bball program. However, the reasons that I've heard over the years are illogical, hypocritical, or moronic. Coach K whines a lot - so do MOST coaches... Duke gets a lot of calls - so do ALL top programs... The only one that holds ground with me is that Coach K looks like a rat, because human nature is to judge by initial appearance. All other arguments are BS in my opinion.
Anyway - GO CU. Watch out for CSU this year though...I think they MAY be NIT bound.
There's also the feeling that they're too white. That perception is especially prevalent with some fans. They're looked at kind of like the 80s Celtics.
It not just that said player is white, they are usually good too. No matter how some of them ended up in the NBA, their college careers were about as good as it gets. Christian would have been a better pro than he was but dude had a ton of injuries. I hate Carolina more than Duke because that is my son's moms team. My favorite player all time is MJ tho, go figure.
