Pac-12 Football Championship Game

First thoughts:

I like how that schedule works out for us on the home game prior to our thursday night game v ASU and then an extra 2 days to prepare for USC...

and we get another gauntlet later in the season:. USC, @ Oregon, Stanford, break @ UA, UW,

At least it is a nice little home stand late in the season.

Cannot ask for a much better first half of the schedule than that one.

I'm confuzzled. two different schedules. And seriously, they need to flip the CSU game date. This sucks.

I think I'm going to go to the Washington State game this year and maybe Oregon

Time to get in touch with Rugged. What do you guys think. Which game should we go to? Arizona? USC? WSU? Oregon? I'm leaning WSU or Arizona. Arizona sounds nice.

I assume you're both going to UCLA, as that game is in Boulder...

The most important standard here is the opportunity for the best Ruggedvision pictures. Ohio did not prove conducive to pictures of any hotness (either that or the presence of Loblaw....). Based on that standard, I think U$C is the best choice.

Just having a bye makes this schedule look better.

Yep, and I think last years brutal bye-less schedule will pay dividends this year. It helped players grow up and with a schedule with some breaks and a little lighter this year things might set up nicely.

drrr, good catch. You don't think UA will provide ample ruggedvision opportunities?

Love that we're getting Utah the day after Thanksgiving again. I had heard that the Pac-12 might shift the paired rival games around. Hopefully that can become an institution and give us some great national exposure every year.

I really love how that schedule lays out. We have an opportunity to start and finish strong. I think we're going to be happy that we miss both Cal and Oregon State this year.

Edit: The Nov 10th trip to Zona is definitely the roadie I'm putting my deposit down for when I renew my season tix.

Agree. Anything less than a 4-2 start will be very disappointing.

1 win, 5 toss ups, maybe less. Not gonna be easy getting to a bowl game. Gonna need to start very well.

Another one of the "Go there once, cause you aint ever gonna go again" situations?

Yep, but Pullman also intrigues me for some reason. Small town in the middle of ****ing nowhere, getting there will be a challenge. I think it could be a pretty cool atmosphere especially as a visiting fan will probably REALLY stand out in Pullman.

Tempe is much better than Tucson. Pullman is cool because that is close to Yakima valley.

I hate to say it, but the games worth watching are all in Boulder next year. Tucson is a possibility, but it's true that Tempe (Phoenix) is a lot nicer than Tucson. Tucson is OK, but it's nothing special. It reminds me of Colorado Springs without the mountains. They do have some good Messican restaurants in Tucson, though.

Gotta like that Fresno State will be returning home from their beatdown in Eugene the week before playing us.

Also, you've got to love that we actually scheduled a bye week ahead of our Thursday night home game against ASU.
