Alright ... don't know if anyone cares about this game, but i'll start a thread anyway.

I'm actually rooting for KjSU in this one ... say what you will about Grandma, but the man can obviously coach ... his record (and Prince's by contrast at the same program) bear that out.

Besides ... fark the SEC.

Much better teams involved than the Orange or Sugar Bowls. K-State's only hope is for some Pig Sooie turnovers

Arkansas just had a pretty nice long pass for a TD. 20-0 with 4 minutes left in the half

Edit: Haha, extra point blocked and returned for a 2 pointer. That's what I get for assuming in college

K-State got a turn over deep in Arky territory and converted a late 1st half TD. 19-9 with 10 sec to go in 1st half and Arky ball just shy of midfield.

Pigs weren't able to deliver the knockout punch. K-State has some momentum and get the ball to start the second half

K-State takes opening kick of 2nd half and drives for a TD. Arky leads 19-16, but big Mo is solidly in purple right now.

KjSU is playing well and didn't quit but it looks like Arky has a clear edge in talent. Arky getting things back under some control 26-16 And have the ball back.

I would still go with KSU or TAMU but Arky beat both of them.

Oklahoma was solid win for OSU.

Also--for what it's worth--the Big XII will finish the season with the highest bowl winning percentage (though it helps that the SEC has one more loss in its future).

What do you think about renaming the sun? The new name could be Alabama Football. That way everyone on the planet would revolve around that which we don't take so seriously.

You guys have forgot what it is like to have swagger. That is all.

The last 10 years have been hell...almost like watching grandpa have a heart attack and then take that long day's journey into night.

There's no swagger in aspirations for a 6-6 record this season.

Honestly, I'd be pulling for Bama if that fg kicker would have taken care of business the first time. Bama's first tilt with LSU was kind of like OSU-Stanford. The lack of a kicking game during clutch moments kills any desire to get emotionally invested. It's impossible to take Bama swaggery seriously during their second bite at the apple.

esp since they lost in Tuscaloosa. normally, i abhor the way LSU always seems to play in the Superdome when it matters....but, I'm OK with it this year.

gotta love the way Bama counts those championships....Billy Bob's Roll Tide website says so. it's so.

anyway, K State was doing more with less all year, smoke and mirrors and Darth Snyder. so they lost to a good not great Hog team. let's not make it a universal principle about how awesome the SEC is yet again. One of the lamest things about bowl games, after a month off, people start making all these general claims about this or that with a high plasticity of rhetorical purpose.

However you want to count them-we got a bunch. Only '41 is a real wtf.

Obviously, sour grapes.
