KSU working on major facilities improvements as well...

Posted this over on Rivals as well. Apparently KSU wants to make major stadium improvements. So frustrating to see our admin just appear to sit on their hands when it comes to the program that pays for the entire AD. I'm sure we'll continue to hear...soon. All I know is whatever this mythical / magical plan is, it better include more than just fixing a broken video board.

They're a lot farther down the road than that. I'm fairly certain they have already awarded the contract.

I think the first facility upgrade might be a security system for the AD offices. The natives are certainly restless.

I would love to see our administration say in the next 2 years that our balance sheet is clean and we have absolutely no AD debt. The point out how many of the programs around the country are upside down, then announce funded projects.

starting to feel like the end of the hawkins era...all I am seeing on Allbuffs lately is negative news? where is the sunshine? where is the light at the end of the tunnel? why is this school and program so far behind the gun all the time? what the hell CU? give your supporting cast and donors a bone!!

SIAP if already posted elsewhere but I also saw where Virgina has raised about 75% of the donations for an indoor practice facility. London himself pledged almost a quarter of a million dollars after they just gave him a new 5-year contract.

Bohn just sits on his arse, and doesnt grow any cojones to tell the CU leadership that we are way behind and we not only need to catch up but surpass most of the PAC12 in order to have consistent success at the top of the conference let alone the nation.

What the F up CU!

They showed the mockup on the pregame show, $75 mllion, and it includes luxury suites, and looks alot like our expansion a few years ago, only bigger. It will be finished for the 2013 season. We still have something they don't have - a practice bubble.

Correct. Very similar situation in Charlottesville re: indoor practice facility - UVA fans have long demanded an indoor facility and it's right about to come to fruition.

Can Kansas State find enough people to fill the stadium after Snider croaks?

I'm sure their attendance has probably been decent this year with the successful season, but I've definitely seen lots of empty seats there both in person and on tv in the past.

I think it was around the same as ours so 50K.

He's a geezer, but a damn good coach. He could win with CU's talent.

Not sure he would have won more than 6 (we really had no business losing to Cal and WSU) with our secondary when Orms was suspended and Espinoza and Goodson in the secondary. He is a damn good coach though.

He won 10 games this year with his JUCO banditos. I refuse to believe KSU has superior talent to ours. They stick to what they do best, don't get penalties, never make stupid decisions, and are very disciplined - all signs of very good coaching. I think he would have won 7, but we haven't had a good coach in a long time.

KSjU has more talent than we do. They've gotten a few 5* transfers the past couple years IIRC as well.

Snyder's a great coach and they had an excellent season this year. But even with the 2011 performance, they're still only 23-22 over the past 4 seasons against D1A competition.
