I would argue he is the one player besides Connor Wood whom we need to have a great spring. With Vincent officially gone, the WR position becomes an even bigger question mark than it already was as the season ended.

It is truly amazing to look at the WR attrition over the last several years. At some point, we need to get some viable starters and depth established there. We had it at brief times with Richardson and Clemons, but rarely at the same time.

From what I've heard/ Seen Sprucy and Wood have developed a pretty good relationship.

In before thread goes full tree pun.

That makes sense with them being on the scout team (or at least I assume Spruce was on the scout team). Hopefully that chemistry pays off right away in March.

We need someone to take the pressure of PRich, or make teams pay for putting to much attention on him.

Plus P-Rich isn't the most durable player. Hopefully, he won't have to play on special teams this year.

I was pretty excited about him in the fall. Let's hope he's ready to rock, cause WR is wide open.

Spruce seems like he can be a Scott McKnight type of guy, mid range pass catcher. PRich is a down field threat. I'd really like to have a receiving TE or big physical WR that we can count on to box out defenders and help pick up those tough 3rd & 6 situations. I'm not sure if Kasa can fill that role or if he will be more of a blocker. McCullogh maybe...

P-rich,canty and spruce make a decent trio but we have zero depth. Don't know how good these 3 we have coming in are. Kennedy needs to upgrade next year and get some top talent wr's in here. They all can't go to freaking CAL.

I really like McColloch as well as the three listed, he models his game after Eddie McCafree and it shows. Uses his height and body well, catches the ball well in traffic, not fast but deceptive speed. Added to the three you listed we still have room for one of the Fr. to step up and contribute but we aren't as bad as we could be.

We signed two superb, fast receivers (G Thoams and P Williams) and another tall 6'3 possession receiver (J Thomas). We are after Tillman who could be another breakout type.

I would say Kennedy is doing a fine job. It would have been nice to sign Javon Williams (who is faster that Jeffrey Thomas), but twas not to be. I am not sure that Canty or Spruce are really going to get that much playing time.

Canty has good speed and spruce has been getting good reviews, I think those two play a lot.

If Canty and Spruce will see little to no playing time, than I would love to see how that is going to turn out.
