Oregon best team in PAC 12; Devoe Joseph is the best player

Oregon looks like best team in PAC 12; Devoe Joseph the best player

We played great on offense on the road and lost anyway. We just weren't good enough on defense - Oregon scored 54 points in the second half. Anyone who thought Oregon would fade has absolutely no clue. I expect Oregon to win the PAC 12 Tourney. They are a superb, NCAA quality team, with an outstanding coach.

Cal has kicked Oregon's ass twice so I would beg to differ about being the best Pac-12 team, but I do believe top 5 team in the Pac-12 is legit. Oregon has no true point guard which is why the offense has been so sketchy because Joseph is the only player who can create for himself and is not a great passer. I would love for Oregon to make the NCAA, but our schedule was a ****ing joke and it would take us winning out in the regular season and possible 2-3 wins in the tourney.

You have got to be ****ing kidding me, another one of these ****ing threads after a loss?

Not sure what thread you are referring to. Also, aren't you the same guy that said Oregon would fade down the stretch??? Oops

Aren't you the same guy that said CU wouldn't win another game after the Stanford game? Oops.

You read far, far too much into every game.

Yes - I was VERY surprised we beat Cal after the Stanford debacle - however, you might remember we were an underdog in the Cal game. Much smarter money than me expected Cal to win - I was not the only one who thought they would beat us. Also, tell me the odds of us beating Ore St on Saturday. I would guess it's 50/50 at best. After the Stanford game, I thought it was certainly possible we would not win another game in the last four, and I still think that was a reasonable prediction.

With respect to Oregon, you have incorrectly evaluated and seriously underrated them all season. I think they are the best team in the league and certainly the mentally toughest. They have won 10 of their last 13, with three of those losses coming by a combined 9 points total, including barely losing to CU and Cal on the road and an inexplicable loss at home to Oregon St way back on Jan. 29. I freaking hate Oregon and Altman, but I think they are the best and most mentally tough team in the league. I heard Barry Tompkins, long-time PAC 12 broadcaster, also predict Oregon was his favorite to win the PAC 12 tourney.

Really dude. Why are you still trolling here? We tolerate Canadian Duck because he is at least overt with his Oregon support. We like and value fans of other teams opinions but not when they are framed as back handed support of like this.

I am not an Oregon fan, ok? Otherwise, I doubt I would been a season ticket holder to the CU for the last 11 years. Just trying to tell the truth, which obviously does not go over well when CU does not win.

No, you're just way overreacting. There's no great team in the Pac 12 this year. Period. We're all flawed.

To be fair, you're not very well known here yet, I would say half of your posts have come after the last two Buff losses.

I totally agree that there are no great teams in the PAC 12, and that Oregon is not a great team. But, I think they have the best chance to win the PAC tourney and get an automatic NCAA bid.

Why are you talking to yourself?

So are we gonna see a thread from you after we beat OSU?

So, when you were wrong it was a justifiable mistake, but you have no problems calling other people out? I have no dog in this fight but still wanted to tell you that you kinda suck.

Are you really a CU fan? 'Cause you've started two threads slobbering all over the awesomeness of the Ducks, and this one comes at a particularly sensitive time. Maybe you can understand why folks have accused you of being a troll.

I wouldn't put much stock in Tompkins... he had a lot of good things to say about Ivan Drago too and see how that went.

You and Barry Thompkins are ****ing idiots.

If Sims and Joseph don't go 19 for 20 in the 2nd on fade-aways with a hand in their face, we win that game.

problem is they did make those shots. That's the point!
They will not hit those shots every game. And it took every single one of them to win at home last night. They're far from the dominant team you're making them out to be.
