Desperation in Ft Collins

Wow, just frigging wow. "hey fatty, wanna come play the foosball?" sure there is three deep of division one quality linemen walking around most MWC schools. This is good news for my boy Capi. He licked his chops for some puss belly to line up against him...

I'd find the story more amusing if not for the fact that Colorado will not have a spring game this April (for the fourth time in seven years) due to a lack of healthy linemen ....

Not sure which is funnier. The fact that some CSU fans were talking **** to a CU fan about the all time record for basketball, the fact the had to see who actually knew the fight song on a CSU website, or that they're trying to do a Invincible thing. All three are great choices.

They beat us in basketball, dumbass.

...and this is the second time in six years we have had a shortage of healthy linemen on one side of the ball.

He says he needs "3 or 4 great guys" After he recruits 3 or 4 more years they may have what their looking for. Until then, the beatings will continue.

We should scrimmage against CSU. They have way more DL than we do and we have OL, which they don't.

We better recruit in 2013 at OL, or we will be in trouble down the road a few years also.

For that matter, we only have 11 OL on the roster right now and there's no way we can run more than a 1st and 2nd line out there ourselves!

On DL - we'll be lucky to have a 2 deep including walk-ons.

All he is asking for is big bodies? Half of the chicks in Ft. Collins are gonna show up.

Dammit. Doesn't deserve its own thread, but a file clerk at the firm just told me one of his fondest memories from middle school was watching Bradlee Van Pelt spike the ball off a Colorado player and I told him to get out of my office. Too harsh?

No, you should have spiked a file off of his head and kicked him out of your office!!

Too lenient IMHO.

Well, perhaps you should remind him he's a file clerk...doesn't that say it all when couppled with being a Goat fan. Frankly, he should probably be glad he isn't running the fry machine at Wendy's.

Are you in a position to fire him? Seriously. **** that mother****er. If his favorite play was The Human Hotdog's unlikely scamper into the endzone, then fine...that just makes him an asshole.

But if he thought spiking the ball off of another player's face was cool? I'd fire him.

That piece of dog****. Now I'm fired up!

Seriously? your firm hires CSU grads? Jesus, what is the world coming to...

I would have told him that he had just gotten his second strike, and that he should GTFO.

He is a Washington grad. (Supposedly anyway, I'm not sure how many Washington grads work as file clerks at law firms). He knows I'm a big CU fan because we talk Pac-12 hoops frequently and he made that comment like it was something I could reminisce with him about. Bizarre.

Kudos to Buff_Since76. Wish I had thought of that.

Probably was a philosophy or art history major.

I cannot think of one play were the buffs or broncos took a cheap shot and I applauded. That is why I love the LV17 play against the Rams. That was dominate and legal.

BTW, their secondary coach just left for Wake Forest. McElwain is having issues with the defensive part of the staff.
