Going into this season, I was so nervous for the program. Talk around town was, "Alec's gone. We suck again." I didn't think we had enough talent to win much. I hoped we could make enough strides with defense and rebounding to be competitive and finish around .500 on the year.

All season, after each win, my mantra was, "One more down. Need to get to 16."

The target I had in mind was somehow doing well enough to earn some sort of post-season and not lose all the momentum the program gained last year.

Now we're ****ing Pac-12 champs, are in the NCAA Tournament, have a Top 25 class coming in, have a nationally-recognized student section, possibly the toughest home court in the conference, and we are on the cusp of national recognition as a legit program.

I can't even function today. This is so damn good.

Beat UNLV!!!

I'm ****ing giddy about this. This is why we as fans deal with those ****** years. For something as awesome as this to make it a million times better.

This.

To use a football analagy, five years of losing to the nubs in the most imaginative ways possible made 62-36 (and the subsequent B12 championship) all the more satisfying.

I'm giddy as well.

**** Duke.

And yes, agreed. Now, to somehow not get fired this week...

@ the bold: Add in the brand spanking new $10 million practice facility that will help make those Top 25 recruiting classes to Top 10 recruiting classes.

Son on a Bitch! This program FINALLY did it! Took some momentum and ran with it!

Its great to see what is going on with the basketball program. Getting attention from guys like Vitale and having John Calipari give shout outs to Tad Boyle makes the program legit. If (when) we beat UNLV and get that NCAA win out of the way this year, the next few years could be epic!
