I have never had it. I cheer for whoever I feel like in whatever I watch based on a bunch of different things, but conference has never been one of those.

You guys know I pride myself on hating everyone who isn't the Buffs.

However, I cheered for Oregon last night and tonight I want Arizona to kick ass and Cal to kick ass and Oregon State to kick ass. I think it is from all of the ****talking people have been doing about us and about the PAC12. It is really annoying and I want them all to eat ****ing crow.

I still hate all of them and hope they all eat gross amounts of dick, but hopefully they do it while winning basketball games.

EDIT: I also like my new avatar. Looks great.

Different vibe in the Pac-12. I actually feel conference pride and much less hate than I used to. Especially in basketball.

I root for teams i like and against teams i hate. I hate cal, usc, and ucla when they had the weasel. I like Stanford. Everyone else, who cares?

I was driving earlier today when I was thinking about this thread and that is something I meant to mention also.

Having some nice visiting fans come over has definitely helped as well. It feels like the conference mates are like a group of friends who have a lot in common, but like to talk ****, but can do it in a fun way that everyone enjoys. And they aren't retarded.

I've always followed and admired the PAC, almost envious. I never had any real bias against any one university. I hated more BIG 12 teams than I have fingers on one hand. Maybe it will take some time to get jaded, but this seems like a great competitive environment where we're all pulling together for the better of the conference. The UT / OU influence in the BIG 12 sucked. I'll pull for PAC teams as long as its not against CU.

I want other teams in the conference to do well only because that makes us look better when we beat them. Sometimes teams or their fans are such a waste of air that I want them to lose even if it makes the conference look bad. I always enjoyed watching the corn fans when they lost a game, any game. Texas fans are so arrogant that I enjoyed seeing them lose again even if it made the conference look bad.

I haven't yet developed that kind of hatred for any of our PAC 12 competitors although U$C losing puts a little smile on my face. I'm sure over time we will all come to dislike some other schools as well but overall they all seem to be much less deserving of scorn that some of our former Big XII conference mates.

Cal is embarrassing the conference tonight.

Down 20 at halftime. Managed 13 points in the first half.

I was just thinking the same thing. I love the 12PAC!

It's even hard to dislike the posters here from other PAC schools. I never had a problem identifying and quickly hating most of the posters from other B12 schools. Some of the PAC guys I even enjoy what they post, guys like flukes and Duck (keep posting eye candy please) most of the B12 posters just showed how backwards and ignorant they were.

I completely disagree with this and all the other posts from the past couple of days that are supportive of Pac-12 schools. I don't like any of the other Pac-12 schools and I especially don't like their fans and I don't want them to have the satisfaction of success nor do I want then incurring the benefitts that success brings. If this hurts the national perception of the conference then so be it. They are our enemies, period. Screw camaraderie.

Disagree. The stronger the conference, the more it helps CU. CU first. Then Division, Then Conference.

Alright I guess i'm in the minority here. I have a feeling this nice little love fest will end once football starts.

I think a lot of the lack of conference pride when we were in the PAC 12 had to do with being the recipient of a controlling relationship caused by Texas.

I grew up in big ten country, and there is a lot of conference allegiance and support among the schools. I want to root for other PAC schools when they are facing schools from other conferences. Except for U$C - they can go **** themselves.

I agree with jrk. **** em all!
