Adam had a good article on him over the weekend and it sounds like it might finally be clicking for him, which would be very good news. He also looks ready to play from a physical standpoint as well. I know spring practices can be misleading and Moten has had his fair share of issues since coming to Boulder, but we do not have many options back there at the moment.

The idea that we can rely on most or all of the incoming freshmen to contribute right away is pretty unrealistic. We need someone who has been in the program to be ready to go for that first game at SAF. I am really hoping Moten is that guy. With Orms battling injuries again, secondary is a major question mark right now.

Good comments.

Counting on freshman is a recipe for disaster. We need some guys who have been in the program but not contributed significantly so far to step up. Moten would be an excellent candidate.

Moten has always had the best ball skills of our CBs. He was never fully committed to being a corner and wanting to be great. If he has matured, he can be a playmaker for us in the secondary.
