Allbuffs on ESPN!!!

Stuart's been getting some well deserved recognition from Ted. Great job, Stuart!

Does anyone else get the feeling that new media is doing a better job covering the Buffs than anyone else?

CU at the Game, Ralphie Report and Allbuffs has more currency with Ted Miller and ESPN than the Denver Post.

I'm going to make a point of clicking the other lunch links from Ted to see whether any other P12 school gets as much news from home grown web pages as does CU.

Sweet scoreboard! Where are they going to hang the chalk and erasers? Do they assign someone to update during games or is that a paid posistion?

:dance4:

At least we do not have a half assed stadium addition design that includes columns that block the view. Serious wtf is up with that? Did they build that expansion in during the roman empire or something? People have been designing upper decks at stadiums without columns since the thirties.

we were going to hire some Nebraskans that live in Colorado, but had to can that idea since they couldn't count.

We don't need to see the field. That's what the Jumbo-Trons are for. Can your guy draw that fast?

:dance2:

The pics on page two of the "scoreboards" thread were showing up as 2.5 MB, and I'm only smart enough to make 2 MB pictures fit on the website.
Alright I'll see what I can do because I'm gonna be taking progress picks.

The jumbotrons draw attention away from the ugliness of the concrete mausoleum architecture of Memorial stadium. It takes an expert eye to tell difference between the stadium in Lincoln and the Chernobyl #4 sarcophagus.

no bs but it is a bit uncanny hahaha

They say that memorial stadium is the 3rd largest city in NE on game day, so why wouldn't it be shabbily built, ugly, run down, poorly planned, smell like a feed lot/ slaughterhouse, and a be monument to faded glory just like every other town in NE.

Speaking of collumns, has anyone seen the dozen or so greek collumns on the east side of the stadium? They dont hold anything up, they are just kind of there for no reason and apparently it is some source of pride to the Nubs.

I heard they were a rite of passage for Nebraskans...one for everytime a Nebraskan mails his sister. Then, you get a plaque, or a free sheep or something.

They are the columns from our old field. I think they are pretty cool.
