First, Larry Scott says let's have a plus 1:

The Pac-12, the Big Ten, the four-team playoff and Larry Scott’s … line in the sand??

Jon Wilner

It’s the season for conference meetings, and college football’s postseason has taken the place of realignment as the hottest topic in the room. One day Nick Saban is ripping “self-absorbed people” — perhaps the funniest thing the Nicktator has ever said — and the next, the Big 12 is coming out in favor of a [...]

And then Dodds goes and says, NO, we do it the TEXAS WAY.
Texas AD: College football playoff structure will either be top 4 teams or conference champs only. No 3 & 1 compromise: cbsprt.co/Dodd0531

Stare down commencing. This could be interesting.

This is basically going to be Pac 12/Big 10(12) vs SEC/Big 12(?). Pretty much dead even in the weight class. Not sure who wins this one.

Edit: Derp, the thread title pretty much says what I just did.

We have the little fish on our side, so that might tip the scales.

Wainaminnit. Dr. Tom Hide Your Handgun Osborn is on the same page as Larry Scott in a staredown with Texas.

This makes me want to take a shower, because it's one of the rare times in my life in which I wish TO success.

My money is on the Pac/B1G. The Rose Bowl is the ace in the hole; they cannot force our side to do anything we don't want to because we are perfectly content to pick up, retreat to the original Rose Bowl agreement and be happy and pigs in ****. The SEC/Big 12/leftbehinds cannot have a credible playoff to crown a "national champion" without the Pac 12 and Big Ten participating in it and they know it. So let Dodds shoot his mouth off, pound his chest and try to tell everyone what they're going to do. Larry Scott has a history of telling that man to take his demands and go play in traffic and I for one wouldn't mind seeing him do it again.

While I agree on the part about TO, who will always be the most hated man in college football to me, I have realized since the split from the Big 12-2-2+2 that I know hate UTerus far more than the fuskers, who I almost respect for escaping from that conference with us.
