RP to head a high school program

With his inability to develop players, I dont think there will be too many D-1 talent coming from him that we will be targeting...

I'd agree with that statement. He's a terrible coach. From DI to high school?

Might as well be a HS head coach once you've dropped to being an assistant at Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Turned down an offer from Memphis 15 years ago, huh?

I think they did alright after missing on him.

ricardo stayed a few yearstoo long for him and us, but his career at CU is not worth mocking. he never finished last in the league like the Bzdelik lovers forget. BZ ain't exactly lighting up the ACC either.nice recruiting class, but they had one before they hired him, too.

I probably disklike Patton as much as anyone, but what he did well is bring talent into Boulder. I think a lot of that lead to his inability to build really good teams, since there was very little disapline due to the fact he had to go for talented players that had some kind of flaw. This kept us from ever having a aweful team, but I will say some of those teams were as talented as we have ever had, and I am not just talking about the Chauncey teams.

Bz didnt bring in talent into the program, but he did bring structure. This is why we lost a lot of games under him, and why he is losing a lot at Wake. We were able to take the structure that he built and added with the talent that Boyle is bringing in, we have a winning program. Dont call me a Bz lover though, the way he left was dishonerable at best, and we would have never been much of a winning program under his leadership, but he did build a foundation. This is what I expect Wake to do, once the program is somewhat solid, they will kick him out and bring in a winner.

Truthfuly I dont hate on Patton too much either, I just think he is a great assistant coach/Recruiter, but was a little over his head being a head coach.

Patton was in over his head as a head coach. His teams appeared to be totally undisciplined on the court, as talented as many of the players were. He also didn't seem to know how to develop his players. Have to make them a team to win and he couldn't do that.
