"Tulane and Colorado, those two have the edge right now," Smith said. "I talked to [Buffaloes head] coach Jon Embree last week and it was a good conversation. He talked about the school and he talked about life after college and the majors they have there at Colorado. I like their depth chart and the academics they offer. I have also talked to [CU offensive coordinator and running backs] coach Eric Bieniemy.

Serious? He's a senior to be at 230, he has ample time to put on weight between now and June 2013 or later.
Our Jr and Sr guys are way heavier, but we have some Fr and So guys around his weight, so he'd have time. I hope he's fast...that seems to matter a little more in the PAC XII.

I would doubt he'd be at 230 lbs in college. He'd probably play at around 250 and be a monster DE. Get those southern DL in here. Love it.

No point. I just saw his weight and thought he looked a little slight to play DL, but he'd put on weight and could be a good player. I agree with sack...he'd probably play around 250 or so.
His current weight is right in the middle of his ranking.

Not worried about his weight, he will add some and he's 6'6", he'll fill out. He'd be a nice addition.

Shows good quickness and decent strength getting in the backfield. Weight is a difficult thing to project. 230 as a junior in high school could mean 250 in college, he could also blow up to 280 or 290 in the next 5 years. Looks like a player that I'd be happy to have in the program.

I like this kid. I feel he could be one of those guys who really
develops in college and becomes a really good player. He could
One of those guys who adds even more than the usual 20-30 lbs.
Maybe he gets into the 280-290 range.

Is this a joke. We lost a battle to Tulane. :uglyhammer:

Decommitted from Tulane. Could still end up there, but most are projecting Kentucky, Arizona State or maybe Louisville.
