Michigan State and UConn to play at Ramstein Air Force Base

Correct me if I am wrong (I am sure I don't need to ask) but isn't UCONN the team that is being punished for poor APR? Interesting how they are denied post-season, but can do this special trip.

Du....Du Hast....du hast UCONN.

How and why. Lotta great coaches out there.

I'm a huge Izzo fanboy. I think he's the best coach out there. He doesn't get the same caliber of recruits as other elite programs. He's behind Ohio State in his own conference in recruiting. How many MSU guys can you think of in the NBA

But his teams peak at the right time. They're tougher than anyone else. And they almost never disappoint in the NCAA tourney.

6 times in the Final Four in 17 seasons, a national title, a bunch of BiG championship, etc. This is a Michigan State program that, since the 1979 title, had only seen 2 Sweet 16s prior to Izzo taking over.

As great as he is, he doesn't get the notoriety he should.

What Nik said. Williams and Coach K and Calipari and Pitino...all of those guys get tons of attention. And they deserve it, they're great coaches. But honestly, if I could pick any coach in the nation (other than Tad) to lead my program, it'd be Izzo.

I know he is a great coach. I just don't see why he would be more deserving of these games, especially two years in a row.
