Reported Offers: COLORADO, Arizona, Cal, UCLA, Utah, Washington State, Wisconsin

Jumped at his first offer (Arizona) on 4/14, but has received offers from UCLA and CU in the past couple days and the word is that he is looking around.

It also says CU is making a strong push. I wonder if we're a "better school." Fwiw that article lists him as 5'11 175lb

Keep an eye on Allensworth. His stock may be ready to take off over the next few months.

Sounds like it's a 3 way race. http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/on-the-trail/post?id=17278

Wisconsin and California are two schools that made their way into the picture and now stand with Arizona as the final three schools for Allensworth, though he makes sure to point out that he is still committed to the Wildcats. But Allensworth will do as much research as he needs to do before he makes his decision final. He took an unofficial visit to Wisconsin earlier this month and will visit California next weekend. After that, he plans to regroup and announce a final decision on Aug. 16.

Wisconsin or Arizona? How about nice weather Darius?

Ha. If I were in his shoes, I'd be going to Wisconsin in a heartbeat. Sure, the weather is nice at UofA. The academics are far worse than Wisconsin's, and the coaching staff is too. Obviously, the right choice is CU.

When I was saying nice weather I was talking about CU. I couldn't do Tucson summers or Wisconsin's winters.

wow, aren't you a zona grad?

Yep. For law school. CU for undergrad. UofA is getting better, but it isn't Wisconsin in the academics department. And I hold no allegiances to UofA athletics, other than the fact I hate ASU.

Do we have a chance with this guy? Be nice to take one from UCLA et al.

Not really. As flukes points out, it is basically Cal or Wisconsin and he is deciding this month. Cal probably feels pretty good that he did not commit to Wisconsin after his trip there.

Flukes that pic is downright disturbing! The face of evil. Kinda looks like the wolf from the never ending story.

Sounds like Allensworth has reached out to Texas Tech about a visit, and there is 'legitimate interest'

This via my TTU buddy, so TIFWIW
