well it is Fall Football time:most of the so call Buff fans have giving up on the football program as a whole due to lack of wins in the last 8 season.....but this season i think the team can be on the way to being a pretty decent team. i been sitting reading post all summer and everybody wants to put the blame on Coach Embo and his staff for the dismal season we had last year i dont care who would have coached last years team they would have sucked .......it takes about 3to4 years to build a program and the coaching staff brought in a pretty good recruiting class this year. Yes we are the youngest team in the nation but so was Okla. St. 3 years ago and they won 10 games with the same question surrounding their team. we are more talented than last year, much more faster and athletic and that should translate to the field.....you guys may not have high hope but i think we can win 7 to 8 games really.... only top tier teams in the conference is S.C and Oregon but the rest of the games are winnable. we will just have to open up our offense a little cause we can not be just a run team like we were last year i have faith that our young QB who ever that is and WR can get the job done.....defense should also be much better with the size and speed we have on that side of the ball.... we lacked both last year......SO SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE SEASON !!!!! GO BUFFS!

hey! So I'm an apparent "so call Buff fan" because I "have giving up on the football program"? Just because I see the writing on the wall doesn't make me any less of a fan, it just lowers my expectations enough so i am not constantly disappointed this fall.

Could you coherent-atize this post, please?

not a new guy someone hacked my computer and deleted my profile

Thought it took a mod to delete a profile...

True re: last year, but that doesn't mean Embree doesn't have yet to show he's a good head coach, or that we've caught up in talent, esp. speed. I simply don't share your optimism. Go Buffs!

Above average coaching would have had us at 6 wins so yeah I don't really buy that the coaching staff couldn't have won more than 3-4 games. Hawaii, Cal, as WSU are not world beaters and were all very winnable games. It was nice to see the team take after the coaches as the season went on though.

We were a running team last year?

Nevertheless, I'm keg-standing kool-aid at this point. 10 games are completely winnable.

GO Buffs!

I'm so geeked for college football. As far as the Buffs go, it's so difficult for me to tell. They are so young with so many unknowns, in my mind we could be 4-8 to 7-5. I am going to be positive and bet the coaching staff has selected some real talent, given them a Buff attitude and let them loose.

Optimistic dream/Kool-Aid delusion: 8-5 with a bowl win.

Shoulder to shoulder baby!!!

Trying....to...resist but Kool Aid tastes so good. Cannot wait to be back in Boulder on Sat afternoons. Best time of the year and it is only a month away.
