Boulder police raise concerns over Airsoft gun incident involving 8 CU Buffs

No arrests were made nor any tickets given after the eight CU Buffs were ordered out of their cars at gunpoint, but Boulder police plan to raise concerns with CU's Athletic Department about the athletes and the "impact their behavior had on police services throughout the entire city at the time of the incident."

Meh - The real concern here is the back-talk to the police. Doesn't sound like any laws were actually broken.
 
So is this the disciplinary matter Clark is gone for?

I'm sure, of course, that the lady and the police weren't influenced at all by the fact that this was a bunch of black kids in an Audi A6 and a BMW X5... :rolling_eyes:

Also, gotta wonder which of the players are driving an Audi A6 and a BMW X5.... :lol:

That thought crossed my mind, too. I'm always amazed at how (generally) underprivileged student-athletes somehow drive nicer cars than I do. Hopefully, that is the end of this leg of the story.

In the other thread I mentioned that I've seen the X5 driving around the Dal Ward and if it is the same one then it appears to be a 2002 model.

I'm sure they thought they were getting pulled over for "driving while black," which informs, but not excuses, their initial reticence to cooperate. Still just a mind-bogglingly stupid turn of events.

We can't even get in trouble right. They should have at least had the common courtesy to have been high/drunk.

Yeah, I responded here before I found the other thread.

Just a random thought that came into my head... the kids who were waving around any kind of a gun out of a car window are the ones at fault here, of course. Just have to wonder how some other factors might have influened things, though... :huh:
