Per Comcast agent All pac-12 network channels will be available in Denver Area in both HD and regular as well as ESPN Goaline/Buzzerbeater which is like NFL redzone

probably some yes some no... not completely sure other than they will be available either on sports tier or some other way

It might not make much difference if we are able to do the online streaming stuff and see everything.

To a degree, I feel that the Pac-12 dropped the ball on the Pac-12 Network.

Good work BCS. I thought I saw in another post that they would not be available in HD? Will they all be available from the start in HD?

they said both HD and standard digital to start... but then again... it was just one agent...ill try again later

Larry Scott explained to everyone that they would be able to watch one football game on the Pac-12 Network but then we have three Pac-12 games on the Pac-12 Network at the same time.

Maybe I was expecting too much for a launch of seven channels.

they are available via the internet... so if you pay for it you can get it

Nash Buff- You have to have TV subscriptions because otherwise there would be much less incentive for customers like yourself to subscribe to Comcast or Time Warner Cable. Comcast and TWC paid huge rights fees for exclusivity and these rights. If the PAC-12 were able to sell online subscriptions that would severely impact amount of revenue that PAC-12 could generate.

just got off the phone with them again and got this

All networks will be available in Comcast Colorado
ALL NETWORKS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN HD AND STANDARD
To get Mountain and National just need digital starter package (comes in hd/standard)
To get all of them you’d have to get sports entertainment tier (hd/standard)

Confirmed Channel numbers as of 3pm 8/14/2012
840 Mountains HD
430 Mountain Standard Def

431 National Standard Def
MORE NUMBERS TO COME

Am I the only one having a hard time reading this?

If every CU game isn't shown over the whole state of Colorado or at least locally on the the lowest cable/sat tier, this was a fail for the University and especially the fans. Sure CU may fill their pockets with cash on this deal but if it doesn't give the school more exposure then you aren't helping build and keep the future fanbase.

Then again I am from the thinking that a large rabid fanbase pays off more over the long run than a payday from a cable company that kills your exposure.

That said, I think I am going to switch from DTV over to Comcast soon so I can see the away games, but it is a shame if your average Coloradans around the state don't get the exposure to CU that they should be able to get.

Audio is still screwed up which is kind of disappointing that they did not have this figured out before it was launched and guess who I get to see first on the pac 12 network? who else but slick rick. wonderful.

it doesnt launch for another 11 hours... lighten the **** up

not so good news... comcast has now said that we will only get mountain and National for the foreseeable future and that only pac-12 mountain will be in HD for now

Maybe I missed it, but will every CU game be shown on a basic Comcast subscription without upgrading to any premium channels or packages?
