3.93, Kevin King – With great length at cornerback King showed up in a big way in the morning showing great short quickness to add to his length. King’s mark was the second fastest shuttle time and he added a 38.6 inch vertical as well. King is still one of the biggest sleeper cornerbacks in the country despite a handful of offers.

38.7, Kevin King – Similar to Ramsey, King is an extremely long cornerback with long arms that add to his 6-2 frame. The ability to elevate makes him extremely valuable and it also is a great indicator of his explosiveness. Though he’s only a mid-4.6 guy in the 40, King shows the burst to make him extremely valuable.

- Keep an eye on Kevin King. He tested well in the morning and though he had a slow start to one-on-ones, King got comfortable and made some good plays later in the day. He has 6-2 size a 38-inch vertical and is one of the biggest sleepers at the defensive back position in the nation.

6'2" with a 38" vertical ! If he can keep up with PAC12 receivers he would be a great addition. Good luck throwing jump balls against him.

The straight line speed in the mid 4.6 range concerns me. Unless he runs an exceptional pro shuttle, I'd be afraid it would be Deji Olatoye Part II. That said, a great vertical will often indicate the quick twitch you need to be explosive in the shuttle and is a very good sign.

Rivals list him as a safety. He has the height and looks like he could put on a significant amount of weight (skinny but with a frame to carry more pounds.) Wonder if he might be that safety with cover skills that lots of schools are looking for.

Agreed, and I think colleges are thinking the same thing. If he ran in the 4.5 range, he would be a 4*/high 3* prospect IMO. Interestered to see how we approach DBs with the low numbers. I think we need at least one more.
