CSU Getting Desperate?

I just read this article and it sounds to me a bit like desperation:

http://www.collegian.com/2012/08/21...-for-walk-ons-to-fill-remaining-roster-spots/

They are holding walkon tryouts to fill 5 empty roster spots. I know that all schools including CU encourage walkons but so close to the first game of the season I think is unusual. They will have no time to get in shape and they have missed weeks of practice.

They indicate they need more depth at key positions.

Doesn't bode well for our "friends" up in the Fort.

It's "hey fattie, wanna play the foosball?" part II. Will it bring more pass pro wizards like they saw last spring? In he spring scrimmage the ram O-line set records for look-out blocks and offering their hand to pick up the QB. It will be a long year in fort fun.

This game is a set-up. Too much bad news coming out of Fart Collins.

Come with us to the light already!!!! Bohn should have already retired you years ago!! We know of a nice retirement kennel for you - somewhere you will be safe from burning anything down again. We will even let you play on our shuffle board team........ohh don't worry.........its only intramurals.

disregard my previous post..................this was supposed to be a reply to the Hawk picture caption contest thread.

Bowl eligibility for CSU is a dropped RMS game away...

That would make a great AB's sitcom. Wally's ghost living on through Rugged in a weird Patrick Swayze in Whoppi Goldberg way.
Rugged has always wanted to be a portly black woman.
The best part is that it would be Burrito who killed Wally in that scenario.

I think this story has legs. Anyone know a good casting company in the Denver Metro area?

Agreed. Also, Rugged has always wanted Walrus to be inside him. And the Walrus has always wanted to be inside Rugged. This will make everyone happy.

We need to understand more about the manner of death. It sets the tone for the entire series.

Crushed to death underneath one of the fat chick sacrifices that BP pushes Wally's way (knowing full well that Wally can't say "no", even at the expense of his own safety) to get to the hot chick he wants?

The fat chick's name has to be Lucille.

Bull****. I've met wally, and that is a guy who would have loved to sacrifice himself with a fat chick. You are definitely not in charge of the casting. You would get it all wrong.

You're out of your element.

Wally wouldn't see hooking up with a fat chick as a sacrifice, wouldn't concern himself with his own safety, and certainly wouldn't need BP to do anything more than point out that there's a fat chick alone at the bar.

Frankly, she wouldn't need to be alone. Wally's the kind of true rogue that would fight the current mate in order to get with the fat chick.

You're right. Especially if the fat chick was wearing hot pants.

You both are making my point. Wally, in his confirmed devotion to fat chicks wouldn't say "no". It's BP, who would disregard his own friend's (??? as I understand their relationship, anyway) safety to get what he wants. The two get in a fight and Burrito points out the fat chick. BP wakes up the next morning, realizes what he's done and screams "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!". Pan out.

Don't know what made me think of this, but has anybody seen the Point Break Priceline ad with Captain Kirk? Freakin' fantastic!

False. What you are describing is an obvious coping mechanism that the walrus would use to pretend he didn't want to do what he did. Second, BP would never scream "nooooooo." Instead, he would attempt to take pictures and then tell everyone he could the story while laughing hysterically over bloody mary's at the buff.

The burning question is whether Wally should be killed by the heft of the fat chick or whether this scene would have Wally ditching Burrito & pals (who were his ride), getting stranded 50 miles from home, and having to do a 10-hour walk of shame. Of course, Wally wouldn't realize it was a walk of "shame" because he'd be proud of his accomplishment and have a skip in his step the whole way.

Meanwhile, Wally would think the pictures were awesome.
