Anyone care to see a CU flag in the background tomorrow? I'm debating doing it again but have to drive to Austin sometime in the morning to catch the Wyoming massacre there tomorrow evening.

Absolutely!...but a drive from Austin to Austin doesn't exactly sound like you will be driving cross country.

It's 106 miles to Austin, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses

Just went to the WalMart next to Cowboys stadium to pick up supplies (I live 2 miles up the street but usually don't venture down there since it's extra ghetto). The place was crawling with alabama fans all yelling roll tide to each other, and a bunch of the locals who have no clue what college is (why are all these atlanta braves fans here????). Didn't see a single Michigan fan - I'll be rooting for them tomorrow of course, not that I really care.

Anyways got the extension pole, tape and the fasteners. Will be removing the CU flag from the frame on the wall tonight to make it's second Gameday appearance in the morning.

If you see the WAZZU flag guy tomorrow, kick him in the nads for me. You are a brave man in that part of Arlington.

Ok the flag on the extending pole is complete. I had to wrap the entire top half of the pole in white tape since all they sold were red ones - and we can't have any of that leaking through... Keep an eye out, I'll only be there for the first hour and a half or so then have to get on the road.

Now hopefully the kids at the alumni center will stop calling me for cash every night.
