Only 'Gasm has the right to gloat, no?

The CSU Faithful weren't really around this year. I mean, C Squared dropped in, and he was friendly. Not sure if any CSU fans have made appearances in other threads yet.

But the rest of the clowns were absent, except that ****ing moron 'Gasm. Who, endured sufficient abuse to have earned the right to come over and give us ****. His team won. Ours didn't.

**** 'Gasm, for the record.

I was leaving the stadium (in to visit my girlfriend for the long weekend) and waded through an endless line of taunting fans. Reminding myself that I would have behaved the same way, years ago, and that my team lost, I just kind of smiled and didn't say anything. People got in my face. People called me a loser. People laughed and jeered. People screamed at the top of their lungs, mere feet from me. I dealt.

And then a group of young people started chanting, "**** Boulder, **** CU, **** you dirty hippies" and walked too close to me, and I snapped and drove my forearm into some dude's gut. He stumbled, turned and looked astonished, and I was fully ready to go. But he wasn't. And some old man in as CSU hat said, "keep walking loser." That sucked. And I was embarrassed that I lost my ****, and will now be the "bad CU fan at the game" story for about 100 smug CSU fans.

But anyway, back to topic. CSU fans were given the right to brag at the stadium, but around here, I think only that stupid ****-face 'Gasm can legitimately do so.

Dude, the last thing we want around here right now is 'Gasm!! Were you around for the Baylor onslaught this past March? We don't want that again, but from Goats. 'Gasm deserves all the **** he got. He's a worthless ****, and the sad truth for him is CSU defeating a miserable CU squad today will do absolutely nothing to erase his inferiority complex

And nice work on the CSU fan. I owe you some nails and piss balloons.

Of course it's the last thing we want. But he's the only CSU fan that put it on the line this year; nobody else earned the right, is my point.

The Baylor thing sucked, I was here. Those guys were dumber than CSU fans, possibly, and that tourney loss hurt bad. But we kind of drew the fire, with our constant "**** Baylor" banter.

**** Baylor, by the way.

I have no problem with OMFGasm being unbanned to collect on pre-game bravado. His coach clowned our coach.
His team's o-line made an adjustment to double up on Chidera Uzo Diribe and take away the sack. His team stopped CU on the one yard line. His team's special teams got the turnover.

His team got scoreboard.

His cigar affectionado post was half right...CU belongs in the discussion with the worst BCS team.

I haven't posted on here yet. I have been on the other side of many RMS losses and know exactly how it feels. I certainly will not gloat about the win. To me this was the same game we have seen many times in recent years. Whichever team controls the line of scrimmage controls the game. CSU did it this year and pulled one out.

The calls for Embree by some are premature at this point. His team is young, but you can see the athletes coming into the system. It just takes time to get young kids to grow into division 1 bodies regardless of how highly recruited they may be.

More than anything I am just really happy for McElwain and CSU's players. This team looked like night and day compared to the last three seasons. Disciplined and tough. It's very very early in McElwain's tenure, but My initial impressions of him have me really encouraged.

Good luck the rest of the way Buffs.

Yup. you called it. Congrats to you and your team. Looks like McElwain has a lot of promise. And you found a new starting RB (#7 far better than Nwoke imo).

You suck at gloating.

Donnell Alexander (#7) had a good camp and you could tell the staff was excited about him coming in this year as a redshirt freshman. Interesting note on the kid....he is Derrick Thomas' son.....HOF linebacker formerly of the Chiefs. He and Nwoke could form a nice 1-2 punch this season.

yup. Nwoke is more of a bruiser, but Alexander has better feet and vision. Both better than anything CU has.

I thought Jones looked good at times. His o-line just didn't give him a lot of help. CU needs a bigger back that can move the pile a little bit to compliment Jones. I kept waiting for that FB to get a bunch of carries to wear on CSU's line and open up better creases for Jones. Looked like Embree and Co. are still trying to figure out the right mix back there.

Ya... it was a real weird day as far as personnel usage at RB and FB. I really can't explain it.

I couldn't get myself out of my seat for a while after the game. By the time that I did, I was in a sea of green leaving the stadium. I had several opportunities to lose my cool, but everyone who talked **** to me got a "Good win, be cool" and a death glare from me. That shut everyone down. It's been a while, but I remember what it's like to win and how to be a good winner. I hate losing.

I didn't get a "good game" once. But again, I don't blame them.
