'13 AZ SG Jaron Hopkins (Signed to Colorado)

Tad Boyle is single-handedly carrying this AD on his back. What an incredible coach. Pay him whatever he wants, for however long he wants.

Run Ralphie. Roll Tad.

Congrats to Boyle and to Jaron. Tad is going great things for the Buffs and basketball.

great video of Jaron

Be wary: Jaron has a hater/stalker that goes into every forum to write negative things about him even though he doesn't even know him.
Not saying that Air-zona is him/her or not but he did come into this forum just to post about Jaron. States the Buffs didn't "steal"
Jaron from Arizona because Arizona is recruiting "higher rated players". However, Arizona got its first 2013 commit from a Rivals
3 STAR player ranked at 117 and Rivals has Jaron with 4 STARS and ranked at 107 nationally. So IMO, I'd say it was a good steal!!!!
Roll Tad

Re: '13 AZ SG Jaron Hopkins (Verbal to Colorado)

This truly turned my weekend around. I can't remember a time when we have as much talent on the roster as we do now. Jaron is coming into a great situation, he has the opportunity to get playing time ( and we know he will because of his defense) without the pressure of having to carry the team.

Get your season tickets now folks because they might be way too tough to get if you wait a few years.

Excellent news and welcome Jaron. I'll have to check out some Dobson games this year.

+1. That is all the truth right there!

What are the NCAA rules for attending a game? I would never try to talk to Jaron, but I assume a CU shirt is fine?

ESPN Insider Commentary by Reggie Rankin

Hopkins is a very athletic and exciting wing guard who excels in transition. He can get to the rim and will provide some athletic completions in traffic. Hopkins slashes from the wing in the half-court set, where he can get deep in the lane over through or around defenders with ease.

Hopkins can also rebound and push the ball on defense where he applies immediate pressure off the bounce. He will need to continue to work on his jumper and extend his range so that it is a respectable weapon, but this athletic slasher has a excellent first step to get an immediate advantage.

....Hopkins' athletic ability and versatility will be a treat for Buffaloes fans.

He is going to learn a lot next year and slide in and take over for Spencer when he moves to the NBA.
