Back From the Game...

Beautiful day. Great Tailgating...Thanks Kingsford- nothing like a Rib Eye cooked over hot coals.

Then the game started.

I found it interesting that CU went with the big backfield this week and Jones hardly saw the field.

Not going to break down things too much.

It is very concerning that CU got up by double digits two weeks in a row and then collapses.

There is no reason to keep starting Jordan Webb. He continues to be very inaccurate and inconsistent. You are not going to win with poor QB play - Time to see if Connor Wood can do something...if not we are in big trouble.

The defense took the day off after the first 7 minutes of the game...extremely disappointing.

The team does not look prepared. I knew that we were going to lose when they ran the ball up the middle for the 3rd time in a row with Powell and not making the first down. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win.

Sac St, Threw the same slant over and over again - no adjustment to stop it.

About 40,000 in the stands at the start of the game. 30000 at the end.

New Scoreboards are a real disappointment - the size was strictly to add advertising. Looked like a car in a NASCAR race.

I have no idea where the program goes from here. Last week I was peeved, this week I am numb. If they don't want to commit to a winning program then I have better things to do with my time and money.

that slant route was frustrating as hell...they loaded up the right side with wides and everybody in the stadium knew what was coming and they still couldn't contain it...

totally agree about the new boards...the south endzone board has so much **** on it you can't read it...

and i believe your last paragraph pretty much describes the first two stages of coping with grief...

Agree with everything you wrote. I wish the too small boards was all we could bitch about from today.

That's a point that may get lost in the shuffle of this 2-week disaster. Not only are we losing to less talented teams they're coming back on us in the process and pushing us around while doing it.

Well how stupid can you be as a D co'ord. Even my GF was saying why aren't they stopping that one slant pass every time. Really I mean change something Press or go zone or blitz not just the same crap for 5 plays in a row... How stupid are you. Also EB= worst OC ever lets just go HB dive on 3rd and short like thats not predictable

This may be the most concerning issue.

I actually agree about the boards. I could hardly read the stuff on the north one.

Hey, I was telling you guys all summer about those scoreboards. All they did was make it easier to add more advertisements. The size of the replays were the same and when they went full screen (I think by accident) you could see that you lost half of the picture due to the camera shooting in widescreen and our boards being a freaking square.

The school is ready to rake in big bucks, that is for sure... Only problem is, without a football team that can win a game, and a network that most people do not have access to or are willing to pay to get access to, will anyone see any of this stuff in the future?

E. Gordon Gee, where are you when we need you?

Let's fix this thing or shut it down for good...

Yet something else Bohnhead fuked up! I knew it when I was seeing their installation and I was severely underwhelmed that they went cheap and dont have the balls to go big and instead when mickey mouse on us.

What a fukin douche!

What do you mean? Didn't you hear that the wind is stronger in colorado because the air is less dense so we had to get boards that oriented in the wrong direction?
