Nano-hope

I know the program is dog**** and in free fall, but a few things gave me some nano-hope...

-I was impressed EB made an immediate change at RB after seeing Jones' performance against CSPoo. Makes me think he has the guts to yank Webb and McCullough for Wood and Thomas and do something about the O line.

-special teams were improved

Thats all I got.

And Jones' attitude was visibly terrible when he was taken out after one play. He was clearly moping about it. I think he should sit on the bench until he improves that attitude, or leave the team.

I think he is just upset with himself. He is perfectly aware that he has not been effective.
 
Jones' lack of effectiveness is not entirely his fault. Hard to get out of the backfield when there are three defenders back there with you at the time you get the ball and you don't have the size to knock them over.

Our offensive line is terrible.

Our blocking is terrible. On one kick return I saw half the team turned the wrong direction watching the play happen rather than putting themselves on someone and running them back.

Lots of suggestions on this site. I have a few: Wood for Webb, Thomas for McCullough. Shuffle the O line...maybe Nembot cuz it'd be fun and he's the best athlete. Fire Marshall. Go to a 3-4 cuz we are getting used on pass plays in the middle of the field.

I have nano-hope if these things or something similarly "radical" happens. Our O was improved...will be better with a more athletic QB.

It seems the staff started "smarter" players but are much less athletic. We have athletes...let's use them!!
