This was an informative video to me. Orms talked about the team's attitude in the past and how they would kinda give up. He also mentioned looking at film and the coaches pointing out how they start the game swarming to the ball, and by the 3rd series or so they stop working that hard. Explains how we can go up 28-3 and lose 2 games. Hopefully the Hawk-bonic Plague is leaving the team and they play like a Colorado team plays...never give up, never surrender!

I'm not sold on this coaching staff, but these kids need to step it up and play a full 60 minutes, or at least 30 - they are talented enough to where neither game should have gone past halftime.

OK, then coaches need to start benching kids during the game and putting in someone willing to play hard.

rather have less talent playing hard at 100% vs more talent on the field dogging it

Agree with both comments. When fairly equally matched, fire and passion will be the trump card every time. This team had neither in either game. That's coaching and players...they both have a part...

This is it in a nutshell.

You can excuse someone having more talent than you do, you can never excuse someone having more effort than you do.

I watched this a few times. Orms has zero confidence. Watch his eyes. He's grasping to say the right thing even though he doesn't even believe himself. We are in big trouble. No leader on this team.

I agree. sigh. "we want to" ugh.

I think we are inexperienced but the freshman have actually been playing well.

so if they are playing well how can it be an excuse.

Feel free to expound. I believe he is facing his fear.
I'm saying he doesn't have belief in his team. he said "we want to" follow Webb. Not "will." combined with his general demeanor in the interview... he just looks like he has no hope.

I didnt watch and Im not gonna call out players. I can tell u I did see fear and panic in the Csu game. Im not saying any of u guys called anybody out either btw, this is just my take on it. We better start building some confidence, u cant play this game not believing in yourself and the guys around you.

Has anyone seen Orms interviewed before? Some guys just don't like the bright lights of the media in your face like that. Maybe it is as you are calling it, maybe it is his first big interview like that and wasn't used to the spotlight.

Totally possible

I saw him get interviewed after his state title game, he didnt strike me that way. He was feeling pretty damn good tho, it is possible hes that way.

Yes. He was particularly down (even "broken") in this interview.
