Move over, Arky fan, you´ve been one upped

Be kind of nice if some of our football alums who are on local radio would show anything close to that kind of passion regarding where things are right now. I won't hold my breath.

Totally! I wish we could all live in a world of blind rage...

A world in which even the smallest slight in a sporting even can be used as an exhortation to mindless violence. Quote "You know what I want? On a quarterback sneak I want one of our players to pull a knife on him and stick him." Some fool without a CU education might interpret this literally and act it out.

This doesn't make for good soldiering much less good football.

If this is the standard we are striving for as a program, then some heads need to get examined....

Expressing emotion isn't the same thing as feeling passion. If we want the local media to care about CU, then we should demonstrate our passion by showing support, including constructive criticism, not useless hate.

You might have been reading too much into BS76's remark.

Let me interpret it for you:

"We don't get a lot of support from our local football alum on the radio. It would be nice to see that change."

They would be completely vilified by the local media if anybody showed that much passion/rage.

their plan to numb the fans and media into disinterested blase apathy towards FB is working. BBall is next, just you wait.

The reason that you are not going to hear **** from our alums on the radio (and we do have some there... AW, CJ, and KJ all have pretty big shows), is that they all stumped for Embree. They were ripping the hell out of Hawk, but all three wanted Embree to get the job, so now they are just going to aviod the subject.

That is pretty much exactly what I was trying to get at. I understand they're all friends with most of the current coaching staff, but when they weren't simply ignoring the fact that the Buffs existed this week, they were preaching the "give it time" mantra. I'd just like for at least one of them to show me they're pissed about arguably the most embarrassing loss in our program's history.

Fairly early on in the rant you could hear a guy in the background telling him to take a deep breath and slow down.

I'm going to have an aneurism!!!

This was absolutely hilarious. I was laughing out loud. I needed that.

I love a good rant.
