Another Scary Thought

Can we say goodbye to Sefo Liufau and other top recruits after this season? Why would they sign here if there is zero commitment to winning?

This recruiting class is the least of our worries right now

I am afraid of what Washington State, UCLA, ASU, USC, Oregon, Stanford, Washington, Arizona, and Utah will do to us...

BTW UCLA and 'Zona are ranked and will be ranked higher after winning tonight with their 1st year coaches. Something has got to give.

Not worried. One way or another, the recruiting class pain is far off into the future.

Oregon won't have any need to make national headlines with a huge scoring margin. They'll be top-dog in the Pac-12, nationally, and they only have to win comfortably. Wash State needs a big margin because this is their last win of the season, perhaps. Leach will need to get a lot of offensive plays run for repetition's sake.

Southern Cal will need a big, attention-getting headline-grabbing score. The only way they can make a comeback to the top ranks now is to get bigger headlines than their "Always Lose To Stanford" game. That's going on for four days now... they're going to need some huge score, somewhere.

What's more likely - a huge 80-ish point win against CU, or a 30-point victory over Oregon? Kiffin has to be calculating these odds.
