did you see all the "worst of all time" records that CU set on saturday?

off the top of my head, this team set or tied the following all-time CU football records:

most points allowed in a quarter
most points allowed in a half
longest rushing td
longest passing td

this is, without a doubt, the worst CU team in my lifetime. by far. worse than the worst hawkins team. worse than the worst fairbanks team. worst ever.

that is on the COACHES.

preparation, adjustment, player management, etc. they have failed, failed, and failed again.

i love these guys as Buffs but they can't coach. or, if they can, they can't do it here.

sorry but i've seen enough. when ****ing fresno state DESTROYS you like that and runs up the score for ****s and giggles, you know you are at rock ****ing bottom.

fire everyone.

the players deserve better than this.

Don't disagree at all, but I highly doubt any changes are gonna be made anytime soon. At the end of the season a few assistants may be shown the door, but that's about it. Even if we go 0-12.

bull****. i'll bet you right now. while i agree that in-season changes, absent something really awful coming out, are unlikely, i think this staff is going to get rolled at the end of the year. in its entirety. there is no way embree survives this unless they rip off about 5 straight, starting now, and that isn't going to happen.

A second year coach who goes 0-12 will be fired. There's no recoverying from that. If what's true about this hire and Bohn's stance on it, no way in hell.

Hey, I hope you're right but after inexplicably and unjustifiably keeping Hawkins for that 5th year, I refuse to believe that Embree will get canned after only his 2nd year.

Money talks. They kept Hawkins because of the money situation. They will terminate embree because of the money situation.

I should reiterate that this is just my opinion without inside info.

Embree was also able to set Mountain West records - most points in a Quarter, most points in a Half.

That's, uh, for the OTHER team's conference. When coaches get their teams to set records for the other guys, this is a bad, bad sign.

Carolina, it's so ugly right now that there's no way he survives. You'll be pleasantly surprised IMO

. worse than the worst hawkins team.the players deserve better than this.

Unfortunately this is a Hawkins team.

The upperclassmen are Hawkins recruits.
The attitude and effort are Hawkins effort and attitude.
The willingness to go out there and get your ass thoroughly kicked and embarrased on national TV is pure Hawkins.

Embree was brought in to change this from a Hawkins team to something different. I like and respect Jon and at the end of last season was convinced that I saw positive signs that the Hawkins identity and attitude was being changed. This year has shown that instead it is the dominant element in the locker room and still in control.

Embree and staff have failed. At this point I see no way that they can succeed and so things have to be changed.

We fired Hawkins almost two years ago but still need to remove him from our team. It isn't happening under Embree, maybe the next staff will be able to kill of the disease that Hawkins introduced.

I had always believed I'd give Embree & Co 3 years, but I can't do it now. Love them for the Buffs that they are, the passion for the program they have, and the challenge they took on in trying to right the program.

But these are losses in record setting or historic or embarrassing fashion. Keeping JE et al past an all-time awful 0-12 year will likely do long term damage again. If the admin can't take off their blindfolds and relives a similar error of not firing D2 after '09, then we're gonna be years behind--again.

There may be Hawkins players on this team, but Embree is the sole reason for how awful this team is.

Is it really that ugly?
I know for us it's beyond ugly but do the admin and regents feel the same? I get this bad feeling that they they are very disconnected from the football program, like they heard in passing that the football team lost again but they have no idea how much of a laughingstock we are in the world of college football. We may need a bigger hammer than shame on the field to get them to sit up and take action.

The ability for 'leaders' to pee downhill and stain the younger players is certainly one factor in this team's easy acceptance of Quitting. They've learned the benefits AND cost of Quitting.

We can tell which side of the ledger they favor.

If Hawk is responsible for getting that started, then the next head coach is responsible for letting "Quit" be the players' best choice. Because it IS a choice. It is a decision being made.

That's on THIS coaching staff. If Fresno can play with two thirds of a squad and they don't quit, why don't other coaches consider it? Let the players tweet home about winning their new bench-warming positions and why.

Of course... maybe some ESPN Daddy will whine back and cause alarms to go off.
