Powder Blue!

It's time for powder blue. I realize that with UCLA coming in, nobody will be able to tell the difference between a protest and a regular fan of the opposition. I don't care. I'm not going to give this current group the respect that comes with wearing black and gold. They haven't earned it. If you're going to play like a Fairbanks coached team, you should look like a Fairbanks coached team.

POWDER BLUE, MIKE, POWDER BLUE!!!

Last time it hurt the players more than show the admin anything. Its a bad idea.

I understand this and therefore do not think it is the best idea. However, somehow, someone needs to get through to these players. They don't seem to care that they are an absolute embarrasment. Where is the effort?

The alternative is not showing up at all.

Just hold your tailgate on your lawn. I understand not wanting to give it up though. Tailgating at CU is awesome.

Uhh, CU won the powder blue game against aTm. So the "it hurts the players", or "suggest mental collapse" ideas are misplaced. I was there. Many more than 200 had their powder blue on (Sorry Dave, it's true). Fellow AB'er Clif (haven't seen him around for a long time, but shout out is hereby given), gave my boy and me tix.

I, for one, couldn't do the powder blue that day. I doubt I will at fUCLA. Honestly, I think I'll just be watching at home. Heading into year number 7 of crappity crap crap FB has just about done it for me.

Not showing up hurts the admin more than the players due to lack of $$$. Thats all they care about. It should also piss off the team. Operative word is should...

I'm not even excited to go to games anymore. Struggling to find a reason to go to UCLA. They are gonna hang 100 on us.

I'm going because I know I can find cheap tickets for the whole family. :sad1:

I'm honestly considering asking my dad how important it is to him to be in the stadium at kickoff. I have a lot more fun in the parking lot.

I wouldn't even show up. Nothing will get the message across to the administration like a half empty stadium. Enough is enough.

I won't do powder blue. Powder blue made sense because of our disgust with the admin retaining Hawkins. This is a different scenario. I honestly think Embree and staff are trying hard, they just don't have the ability to do the job.

+1. Time to just not show up.

I guess I have a feeling the admin realizes how pissed off the fans are. But maybe I overestimate them. I'd say the big boy boosters carry a lot more clout with them than does the everyday fan.

There is also the paper bag option.

Got ugly in the student section that day. Multiple fights between kids wearing blue and those not involved. Of course, knowing our students, it was just coincidence and had nothing to do with football.

Honestly, I've come to the point where there are just better ways for me to spend a day than by going to Folsom on gamedays.

I'll go because I paid for my tickets and look forward to games all offseason. I'll find some way to protest tho

Good. That bodes well for the UCLA game.

For the record I just heard on the radio that its breast cancer awareness day and the Buffs are encouraging you to wear pink to the stadium..

I'm going because I love being in Folsom. I love the tailgating before the game. I'll just get in late and leave early.

I'm not talking about wearing blue for one game. I'm talking about wearing blue for every game until they make some changes.

OTOH, maybe I'll just not go. I'm sure they'd prefer that.
