Get this guy the damn ball, at least 7-8 touches a game. Put him back there on kick returns too.

He's the only deep threat on this team, I've been saying the same thing after every game.

He reminds me so much of Mike Prichard. Mike did a little of everything.

I love that Thomas does zero dancing with the ball. It's north & south baby.

I really wish we'd have him come in and either run straight go routes or some underneath drag routes. Get him the ball in front of a linebacker and he could score a TD.

Other than that, give him a couple of screens and some end around hand-offs every game. Worst case scenario, it'll set up some decent runs for our RBs if we fake it to him on the end around.

Agree. I think 10-12 touches is the magic number. Mix them up, but it needs to be designed stuff, ie, pass routes, screens, motion handoffs, reverses, ST returns.

I would be careful not to overuse him, but the kid should be getting the ball more and have calls specifically for him. I get the same feeling watching him that I did with Paul Richardson as a freshman. He's got big play capabilities. Now as the OC/play-caller, we need to nurture that and get him into games early, and his confidence up. Sooner the better.

8-10 touches per game is a start. Much better than 3-4!

Screens, reverses, slot bubbles, or whatever else. I don't care. Just get him and his crazy speed the friggin ball!

I had a chance to see this young man play HS ball in the The Colony TX, its about 10 miles from where I live. All I can say is get him the ball, he has electric speed, and we all know the saying "speed never has a bad day"

We need to be more creative in using him. He's no Percy Harvin, but think of how UF used Percy (he caught passes, end arounds, and even ran the ball out of the backfield off of shifts) I liked what they started to do more of in the WSU game. I agree. 10-15 attempted touches per game is necessary.

Bubble screen worked great with him.

He's the best athlete on the O right now. Been wanting him more touches since after CSU.

EB/Rip seem to force kids into the system, not working with the talent they have. Maybe that's changing with Webb in the shotgun in the Wazzou game.

Sorry to hijack, but what is Jeffrey Thomas' situation? I've seen various posts around the board that make it appear that he still wants to be a Buff, but don't understand a) why he left, or b) if he's going to be eligable to come back.

a. Not sure if anyone has said why he left publically
b. He's grayshirting which is the same as Williams, Jagne, Kough, and others are doing
