ASU vs GABF

I already know what I'm doing, but I thought I'd throw this dilemma (if you can even call it that) out for people to mull over.

A friend just offered me a free GABF ticket for Thursday night, which is also the night of the football game vs ASU.

I've made up my mind already (I love beer), but something that's making it more difficult for me is that I had planned on that possibly being the last football game that I attend this year.

I'd make this a poll, but I'm on tapatalk, so mods, feel free to do so if you're bored.

Against Washington State I decided to go to a local Octoberfest event. Figure the Buffs would get blown out. Needless to say I stumbled home to delight.

gabf=great american beer festival, I can't believe there is even a need to discuss further. You can DVR another Buff L, you can't DVR beer.

If the Buffs were worth watching, this might be a more difficult decision.

GABF on the Thursday night session? I will neg rep you like a husker if you don't go.

I'd say go to the game, as either way you'll be drinking a lot of beer.....but of course I couldn't honestly put myself in your shoes as I'm smart enough to get my GABF tix for a day not on a CU game each year :smile2:

Don't worry, as I mentioned, my mind is already made up. I just wanted to give us something game related to discuss that didn't involve having to think about what will happen on the field.

sad. drink beer every day, only 6 CU home games a year, if you are lucky. And only one night game.

GABF all day long. I think I'm done attending home games this season unless something drastic happens.

One of my volunteer nights was switched from Friday to Thursday, so it's GABF for me. Not even sad about it.

They play the game on a few TVs there, so you can take the occasional peak at our ass whooping. Of course there is sadly no guarantee they'll even have it on the Buffs game...

The GABF is the easy choice. Thursday is the best night for it, with short lines, no beers run out, and the breweries all fresh and excited about the weekend (not sick of the wastoid crowds and whatnot.)

In the 5% chance something good happens at the game you can watch it later. GABF is the best weekend of the year!

I don't drink anymore and even I would choose the beer festival over watching the Buffs get their **** kicked in again.

Hit the GABF at 2PM and procure beer for tailgate.
Tailgate in Boulder up until kickoff.
Then return to the GABF.
