They take a LOT of **** on this board, and in the past have deserved it, so when they do something right it's only fair to praise them. I just got off the phone with the CU ticket office. I had put on my form that I was interested in upgrading seats this season if they had some available. My points are miniscule at best, so I didn't like my odds, but you never know. Well, whomever from the ticket office was that just called was incredibly courteous and went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my seats and we explored every possible option for me to upgrade. There were a few tempting seats available, but ultimately I decided to stay where I was (my seats are really hard to beat for value).

I know that the new CMO has only been on the job for a few months, and he has a long uphill battle to get things going, but I'm liking the direction he's already taken things.

I will agree. I got a call yesterday from the ticket office, and they were great. Granted, I couldn't move my seats up (apparently there are almost NO tickets available unless you want to sit next to BCS), but they definitely seemed like they cared and did a good job trying to help me out.

Now, who are all these assholes taking all our mother ****ing seats? How am I supposed to roundly chastise the ref and his ancestry if I have to yell over all the people in front of me? :pissed:

A beautiful place that will not have any red or blue in 2013-14.

It'll be beautiful to win that KU game in front of 10,000+ black and gold clad fans. I'ma stand outside the front entrance and laugh at all the circus chicken fans who can't get in.

This is so exciting.

Next step is a pre-season sellout of every game through season tickets while students are in a lottery to get seats.

After that, we'll be talking stadium expansion.

That could be coming soon. Bball student tickets have been sold out for a while now. A ton of people that wanted them aren't getting them and they over sell that section by a lot.

Got my first season tickets ever this year. Really pumped for some big time basketball!

:yeahthat:

If the weather gods cooperate, I will attend the men's game against Air Force.

Spoke with the ticket office today and have my pair in Section 6, pretty friggin high up. I didn't realize until now that those are bleacher seats. Someone please tell me they have a seatback...

They don't ... that's why they're called bleacher seats.

But what do you care? You'll be standing for most of the games anyway, right?

Uh, lots of bleachers have backs and aren't just a bench. Would've been nice if the ticket office had mentioned it, or even better if they said I could've saved $70 and sat center court on a bench.

One of the distinct advantages of going to the buffsmadness event was that you could pick out your own seats for purchase. I managed to get three pretty good seats, albeit bleacher seats, for the amazing price of $85/each for the entire season. That's $5.57 per game. I don't think that can be beat. Plus, I didn't have to put in any deposit. I just showed up, pulled the card off the seats, walked over to the ticket office, and paid.

The Buffs are getting so much better, so quickly, that a big reason I purchased season tickets this year was because I was afraid opportunities like yours aren't going to be available in a year or two. The closest row they had to the floor in Section 6 was row 27. In that section, it is one row from the top.
