What was the excuse last year? Everyone got hurt, playing WR as a CB, Hawk recruits, yada, yada. What's the excuse this year for the defense playing WORSE than last year?

Yeah that's pathetic. Last year we had a legit excuse when DD Goodson and Jason Espinoza are playing DB you know we have issues. Even if we are young, we can't be any worse than 2011. This whole team has taken a step back and that's on the coaches. Even the veteran players stink. I'm not sold that cleaning house is the answer, but if Embree stays there better be some new coordinators in 2013, both should have previous OC/DC experience.

He's a joke.

But once again, he will stay as DC and the same BS that went on with the last regime will continue here.

No demand for better product from our leaders and embree will not get rid of any staff members.

CU is a disgrace right now.

i could really go for a really good hot dog right about now.

you know. one with just the basics. some mustard, onion and relish. hot off the grill.

sounds good.

Glad you have joined the other side. Brown sucks.

I'm surprised so many of you think the current staff won't get fired this year. Barring a major turnaround, which I can't see happening, this staff will be gone at year's end. And as bad as we look I think the next staff will inherit a better team than Embree inherited.

I really believe Dr. Phil and BB are stupid enough to keep these guys around...MB just does what he is told. Seven years running of losing FB. MB is a destroyer of FB programs.

Name one reason why you think our administration will take action on this?

The defense sucking is clearly because the offense sucks:rolling_eyes: How any QB is at 95% completion is simply beyond me, and wasn't Barkley's only incompletion a dropped pass?

He's horrible. But in his defense, the offense is even worse, and it's hard to stop PAC12 teams when your offense consistently goes 3 and out.

I would say the offense has been worse than the D throughout the year.

CSU: Offense lost that game
Sac St: Offense starts strong and can't do anything after?
Fresno: The defense was atrocious.
Wazzou: Both were bailed out by the horrible Wazzou D
Arizona State: Didn't tune in
USC: Didn't tune in.

I honestly see the offense making some level of improvement despite our qb play. Don't get me wrong - it still sickens me to watch but I find I am throwing up in my mouth a few times less per game.

However, the defense appears to be regressing. Brown needs to go now and Cabral should be starting his 5 game audition for DC. I don't know how you can stick with a DC that obviously cannont figure out how to even slow down a spread offense.

The offensive statistics against USC were actually pretty decent. Almost dead even, in fact. Well, aside from scoring, that is.

I wish somebody up at CU cared enough and had the balls to tell these coaches win or be gone.

Greg Brown in no way shape or form can be cu's DC next year. There is no argument to keep him from anyone.

He has produced the worst 2 year run on defense in school history.

Those numbers are ridiculous.

You can't ****ing keep your job with those numbers. **** excuses. **** playing with freshmen. **** having a ****** offense. We might be playing with mid-major talent, but we're not playing with FCS talent. Sometime the powers that be have to realize that it comes down to coaching.

****, even Embree has to realize that Brown is gawd-awful. Even if he somehow survives this (which he will, because we have a commitment to sucktitude), he has to at least bite the bullet and fire him.
