cant wait for the season to start.... but no one has any info on today's scrimmage in texas? i'm jonesing....:bang:

First hand from Tad, he thought they won by 10 or 12, and they're coming around, but still have a lot of work to do. He said they're not a real good team right now, but they beat a less good team. The freshmen are still learning.

that's great! any comments on the individuals? highlights? etc.... also will they have another scrimmage between now and Wofford?

Tad's enough of a perfectionist that they could have blown them off the floor and he would think the Buffs were a bad team.

That said unless you have a class like Kentucky or Duke normally gets freshman do take some time to adjust to the college game. We will likely be a much better team after 10 games than we are at the start.

agreed, I think they start of similiarly to last year, hopefully getting better as each week goes by and are strong during conference play.

ESPN:

3. Colorado scrimmaged SMU over the weekend and one source said Mustangs coach Larry Brown was coaching as if he were in his mid-40s again. The Mustangs, while offensively challenged, were strong defensively and didn't have the look of a last-place team in C-USA. Meanwhile, the Buffaloes will have no issues on the perimeter with a pair of strong, productive guards in Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddie. Both could find their way onto an All-Pac-12 team by the end of the season. The Buffaloes got productive play in points and boards from All-Pac-12 first-team guard Andre Roberson. Freshmen Xavier Johnson and Josh Scott both rebounded well in the scrimmage. For the Buffaloes to excel in the Pac-12 they'll need Johnson and Scott to shine. Colorado won the Pac-12 tournament, beat UNLV and lost to Baylor in the NCAA tournament. The Buffs should be in the top half of the Pac-12 again.

Sorry, no real other news, and I've never really talked to him about individuals that much before, besides obvious stuff, things like over the summer he said Spencer had gotten much stronger physically, which is pretty obvious if you see him.

holy hell on Mayor's stats.... we might need to revise his 15-5-5 prediction

One game.

As I said in an earlier thread, The Mayor will have games with stat lines like that. He'll also have games where he scores 30 and has 1 or 2 assists.

On average, he'll probably end up around 15ppg with 5 or 6 apg.

Shut it with your logic. 15-10-5.
