1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. Kansas State
4. Oregon
5. ND
6. LSU
7. Oregon State
8. Oklahoma
9. USC
10. Georgia

KSU has a pretty easy path to the BCS title game. Only remaining road games @ TCU and @ Baylor. Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Texas all go to Manhattan. No conference championship game.

Florida has Georgia this week, ends the regular season @ Florida State, then likely plays Alabama in the SEC Championship game.

Oregon still plays @ USC and @ Oregon State. They host Stanford for their Senior Day. If they win those games they'll likely have to play USC again for the Pac 12 championship game.

Notre Dame will get hammered this weekend in Norman.

It won't hurt either, the polls have proven that letting off the gas will knock you down a few pegs. I doubt Chip will call off the dogs this time.

Not true. Crushing CU is expected, the only thing that would hurt would be a (relatively) close game, and that's not going to happen. And I believe the computers aren't allowed to take margin of victory into account. I know Sagarin isn't allowed to use his best "Predictor" method which does this.

The same KSU program we beat 2 years ago. Amazing what coaching can do, because it's not like KSU has had great recruiting.

It's interesting to think about what "great" recruiting is. Do you recruit the "great" guy, or the "right" guy for what you do?

Ducks play USC next so I doubt chip will risk injuries just to prove a point by running up the score on Colorado.

KSU is great at the fundamentals. It is amazing what a team looks like when they can tackle, block and catch. You don't need a 5 star player at every position to win, you just need good execution.

Also Oregon will jump Kansas State if they win out. Kansas State has played their toughest games, if Oregon wins out they´ll have beaten USC (probably twice), Stanford and Oregon State. That will be enough to make up a relatively small gap in the BCS standings.

Yup, Oregon will be just fine:

If Kansas State and Oregon State win out, I believe the Ducks get the edge for the No. 2 spot. Here's why:

Kansas State has top-25 games remaining with No. 14 Texas Tech and No. 23 Texas, both at home. The Big 12 does not have a championship game, so the best K-State can finish is 12-0.

Oregon is No. 6 in the computers right now, but that's about to change.

The Ducks have top-25 games left with No. 9 USC, No. 17 Stanford and No. 7 Oregon State. There is a reasonable chance Oregon will play USC again in the Pac-12 championship game. Oregon is already No. 2 in the human polls, but the computers will change. Oregon's 13-0 résumé will beat Kansas State's 12-0 résumé.

Oregon is the least tested team out of the top 5, I doubt they beat SC twice. We are about to find out about Oregon, and I wouldn't be shocked if they finish the regular season with 1 or 2 losses.

Also would not be surprised if SC lost another game besides Oregon. A win over a 1 loss Oklahoma team>a win over a 2 loss USC team.

Really! You must be an astute observer of college football.

Notre Dame impressed me tonight.

I had no doubts about their defense, but Golson is starting to develop at QB and that takes them to a whole other level.

One other thing is that this ND team is physical and tough. They didn't just win tonight. They beat OU up. Owned the trenches and there were Sooners constantly limping off the field.

Irish have a very good team.

Now here's a team I like to hate.

Their front seven on defense can matchup with anyone. Nix and Teo up the middle is about as good a duo as you will find.

USC and Oregon state losing reaaaaaally hurts Oregon.

I think there is a good chance we see Bama, KSU, ND and Oregon all unbeaten at the end. That is going to create a hell of a cluster ****. That would be a helluva playoff too!

Anyway, two of those will get "screwed". My bets are on KSU and Oregon getting left out if all 4 are undefeated.

If all 4 win out it's projected that KSU and nd are the ones left out:

Assuming all 4 win out, Oregon and ND will suffer because they'll have both beaten USC, and Oregon will have done so twice. USC won't be the big win that it should be in that scenario with their 5 losses. Idk if that's enough to keep KSU in the 2nd spot, but it should hurt the others a bit.

is SC still in the drivers seat in the south?
