Dan King with the Boulder Outlook Hotel is leading the charge with the Boulder Chamber of Commerce to sell out the opening game on Friday, November 9th at 5pm. My business signed up as a sponsor for the event. Looking forward to setting a new record for sold out games this year. The following is a link to register as a sponsor and the detail is below the link:

Celebrating the success of the CU Basketball Team, the Next Generation Program is designed to introduce the Next Generation of fans and students to the CU experience and build a tradition of a sold out stadium for the basketball team’s home opener. Under the leadership of the Boulder Chamber, local businesses will contribute to buy 2,000 tickets and t-shirts to the team’s home opener on November 9th against Wofford College. The tickets and t-shirts will be distributed to low income and first generation middle and high school students and their families. As an added bonus CU recently announced that the basketball game will start at 5PM and fans will be able to stay on afterwards to see the CU Woman’s Volleyball Team take on the defending national champion UCLA Bruins.

The tickets will be distributed by working with local community organizations, such as: I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County; The Family Learning Center; Casey Middle School; Colorado MESA and the CU Pre-Collegiate Development Program. We want to provide families with a fun and exciting experience and also want to expose the students to the CU experience in a way that may inspire them to ultimately attend and attain a degree from the University. Working with the University’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement (ODECE) we will have current first generation CU students attend the game as part of our crowd.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Three-Point Sponsors – Limited to Six (6)
Three-point sponsors will be the lead sponsors for the program and will receive the greatest recognition. There will only be six – Three-Point Sponsors making this a very exclusive group. Three-Point Sponsors will have their name listed on each of the 2,000 t-shirts and will have their logo displayed prominently in all print and on-line media. Three point sponsors can also elect to receive up to 30 tickets to the game for their own distribution. Cost: $1,500. To confirm availability of a three-point sponsorship contact Dan King at 720.974.7774 or dking@boulderoutlook.com.

Slam Dunk Sponsors – Limited to Ten (10)
Slam Dunk Sponsors will have their logo displayed in all print and online media. Slam Dunk sponsors can also elect to receive up to 20 tickets to the game for their own distribution. Cost: $600. To confirm availability of a slam-dunk sponsorship contact Dan King at 720.974.7774 or dking@boulderoutlook.com.

Jump Shot Sponsors
Jump Shot Sponsors will have their name listed in the “Thank You” print media ads which will run in early November. Jump Shot sponsors can also elect to receive up to 10 tickets to the game for their own distribution. Cost: $150, available by registering above.

Media Sponsors
The Daily Camera has agreed to provide the Next Generation Program with three ads. A kick off ad will run in early October and will feature the charitable organizations who are helping to distribute tickets. The Camera will also run two thank you ads featuring the logo’s or names of the sponsoring businesses. These ads will run in the Business section on Monday November 5th and in the Sports section on game day, November 9th.

The Boulder Weekly has agreed to provide the Next Generation Program with two ads, a kick-off ad in early October and a Thank you ad the week of the game

Awesome. We pregame at Boulder Outlook and they're crew couldn't be cooler to Buff fans. Great Buff suporters.

I talked to Dan last night t see if there was any way that we could help them with this event - in talking to him he mentioned CU thinks there is a better than 50% chance this game sells out. As of Friday last week they had sold north of 9500 tickets to the game.

If your thinking about going I'd jump on it.

That is awesome.

A little off-topic, but I just got 3 tix for the Air Force game. The only seats left now are General Admission and the two corner sections next to GA -- and my seats are in Row 21, so the corner sections are filling up fast. This basketball thing is kind of fun.

To a Sunday night game after Thanksgiving, I figured that would be a lightly attended game simply due to time and day.

I just bought 2 "Best Available" tickets on the CU website yesterday. The best available were 2 GA tickets in section 2. No chairback seats were available??? Sounds like it must be close to selling out already.

Per Coach Boyle...200 seats left for Wofford. Buy them now if you haven't!
